We kicked off this ski season in Tyrol, the largest Austrian ski region in the Alps. Rain and/or snow with warm temperatures was predicted for the week we will be in Sölden, Tyrol. Unfortunately, the weather forecast hasn’t improved. Still, we arrive in Sölden with high spirits and we are ready to enjoy this famous Austrian ski town. What we didn’t prepare ourselves for was the extreme weather. Out of three days of skiing in Sölden, we have less than a half day of non-egregious weather in which we are able to see and distinguish surroundings and people skiing 50 meters from us. I feel like I had hard ski training in extreme conditions. Are you coming to Sölden with us? Let’s go! Allons-y!
