When I came back and opened my computer I tried to play a round and got "cannot connect to servers", obviously timed out so long....I go to the store page and low and behold after 5 seconds my game magically reconnected to servers -_- Priorities.
I want then to update all the survivors make them look a bit more realistic like how they did the map like I'm a Jane main I want them to fix the face hair etc for meg dewight Claudette nea feng Jane and ouu hunny Quentin would be hella cool
Alright this one is pretty cool but I’ve always wanted to see different types of pallets. There’s been different types of windows you can vault but every pallet looks the same. In some killer movies the people being chased would drop book shelves or racks of items on them. The pallets would harder to find for new players but this would bring a lot of attention to detail that the community would love. Just a thought, anyway keep up the great work after all these years, I love you guys ❤️
makes sense in the contexts of the maps, really, especially for yamaoka, considering that all the other places had a more traditional look the killer shack just looked out of place. In badham not so much, but makes a bit of sense if you consider the surrounding buildings, and that the shack isn't on any house's backyard.

We get maybe 30 fps as is but every little thing causes it to drop go power point presentation level frame rate for a few seconds. Can't wait for it to always being like that now.

Have you read anything about the ptb updated graphics exprience, even in the ptb the fps was more stable than ever for most peole. Devs said, in the 4'th year anniversary stream that they've learned a lot about creating assets over the past years and that they would implement these in the new graphic update. We know the devs fuck up sometimes but geez learn to be thankful.

PS4 Xbox & Switch have had problems with graphics & FPS drops forever, the games significantly darker on console due to us being on ultra settings & having worse FPS makes everything choppy, we're lucky to get 30FPS, this update will make the game darker, for killer it'll be horrible, even if we magically get a stable 30FPS, the game will still drop anytime a prompt pops up.

It's not hard to see survivors on updated lery's, and it wasn't hard in the ptb.

It's not the programmers, it's their project managers, sales and management in general. They are prioritizing market sales over quality and functionality of the game which is bad. They are forcing the programmers to add new content every 3 months and now they lowered it to 1 1/2 month because of Tomes and they don't even have time, nor the resources, nor the team to test the game properly. That's why they released a PTB so the community can test the game for them for free and call it "a free preview". It's just bad management. Same type of management is what led the creators of Lara Croft to kill her in The Last Revelation chapter, because they were fed up with unreasanoble deadlines, being underpaid and overworked. I have a feeling same will happen with this game, cause they are adding too much content in too little time. In the last 3 months we had MMR, Cross-Platform, Graphical Update, new Chapter, new Tome, new cosmetics. Imagine the pressure put on those poor people. I'm surprised they didn't put the kitchen sink on the list.
Not to mention the 3d modelers, they suck at their work, the models are all deformed at a certain point, I say is not so much work to hire better professionals? btw: I'm a designer and 3d modeler so I know what I'm talking about
I hope the devs start focusing more on this and game balancing instead of more chapters. Please change healing animations next, and maybe buff useless perks like Slippery Meat and This Is Not Happening.

This game has needed this, so it’s honestly great to see the devs putting so much time into making the game look beautiful! Dead By Daylight feels like a big game right now, so I’m glad it’s looking the part now too.

@@xIronwafflexx performance on console is already unbearable, if you play for an extended time, you'll be catching about 8-12 fps when you turn and if you swing. It'll drop even more, so. I'm super excited to continue getting fucked in the face.

Hope you do an optimization pass before release. I went from a solid 120 fps to 80 on the updated maps. For those not good at math, that's a loss of 40 fps.
I like how with the Yamaoka Estate they've also made the map look cosmetically tidier instead of all the broken wall panels. Thought I was watching 60 minute makeover for a second there XD
the performance is supposed to get better with this. the actual game is poorly optimized. Graphics like that should run at a ps3 with no problems at all. GTA V on PS3 doesn't let me lie.

Hopefully this will slowly lead up to better animations and customizations for old killers and survivors! One of the few games I’ve seen actually consistently update and fix bugs as soon as possible and it’s been nice seeing it grow!

dahahaka unfortunately not all or even most computers allow you to upgrade the graphics card, and when you can you also need the heat sinks and processing power to run it as well

@@xIronwafflexx performance on console is already unbearable, if you play for an extended time, you'll be catching about 8-12 fps when you turn and if you swing. It'll drop even more, so. I'm super excited to continue getting fucked in the face.
I'd be excited if they had optimized console. Not looking forward to more bad frames like on Lery's and Midwich.

@@neilgaming2127 It's pretty smooth most of time, it function normally. The only times it lag is because a player in particular is playing with a wooden router so not really the game's fault.

Hope you do an optimization pass before release. I went from a solid 120 fps to 80 on the updated maps. For those not good at math, that's a loss of 40 fps.

Hopefully this will slowly lead up to better animations and customizations for old killers and survivors! One of the few games I’ve seen actually consistently update and fix bugs as soon as possible and it’s been nice seeing it grow!
