- I been on a spending spree buying bikes I pick up this 2007 Yamaha R1 for 1000$ but it needs a lot of parts. This video I mainly go over all the parts that are broken then remove the wheels and rear swing arm just to find out that my swing arm I ordered is not the correct one for the bike.

jet skis sound awesome, the bike almost falling over was a little nerve racking, but thank god the kickstand saved it, but sucks about the swing arm being wrong!

Hey buddy when i worked at cycles plus where we fixed bikes the best way to swing arm swaps etc is to hang it from something I used to put a strap on each on of the rear foot pegs evenly and it perfect would save you some time and just be a little more of the right way

Bud, you need to get yourself a wheel chock at least, or a lift with a wheel chock. If you have any connections to folks and weld or machine, getting yourself an Abby stand would be a good investment too. Since you're starting to get doubles, you could have someone build the proper mounting plate for the bikes you work on. But at least a wheel chock to get the bike planted, then you won't have those tipping moments, and keep you safer.
That crank case cover looks drilled through to me Idk how else it would be happened. Can’t wait too see the build man

Hey man, amazing series. This is the bike that I've been looking for. Cause the 07-08 R1 models are like the only ones that has 4 valves per cyl with flatplane crank right? Like they're the only models with same configuration as the other Japanese bikes. Unlike the 06 and older that has 5 valves/cyl while the 09 and new ones has a crossplane crank. Could you give me more details on where I could possibly spot an 07-08 R1. Thanks man.
