Everytime I see you cooking with seasoning, my Mississippi cooking heart jumps for joy. No idea who taught you to cook but hug them for me next time you see them. Seeing other TH-camrs smiling while they cook plain, season-less food just makes me want to weep. 😭 I'm the same way with ice and entrance fees but say that in a lot of Facebook groups and you'll get the righteousness mob who try to pretend they levitate when they're online. But funnily enough, I've been to Yosemite 4 times in the last 12 months, ready to show my card at the Tioga Pass Entrance, and there was no one at the gate, ever. It bummed me out actually. LOL. It's cuz I have never gone to (or through) Yosemite during peak season. And I've been tempted to try Beyond Burgers, but I'll trust your opinion, and save my money on those. Yick. But -- beautiful sunrise shots as usual! So good! Edit: I want to evolve a little towards your spending philosophy, and do more FREE camping and stuff (like nearby hotel ice. that was awesome.) But I do think that my Natty Parks Pass money is money well spent, ant it goes to a really good place. I love rangers. :)
We agree on most things, but definitely not the national park pass lol I mean it's public land, funded mostly by taxpayer dollars! We shouldn't have to pay again to access it 🤷♀️ but you're still great, and I respect your opinion! (But also definitely do more free camping) the best camping views are not found in public campgrounds

Look into annual passes to enter all the National Parks in the U.S. As a senior I got a "lifetime" pass-62 and older for $80. Military, children, etc there is free lifetime passes. Or just wait till evening or early morning to enter like you mentioned.
Oh I used to have one, it expired like a year ago and I just can't bring myself to pay for another lol I just sneak in before sunrise, if I want to hike!

Ironic, as I was driving through GT and Yellowstone to get to Livingston, Mt., I thought about what the Park Service does for people just driving through to get somewhere. I have a lifetime pass (don't hate 🤷♂️ ), but I thought about what if I didn't... I am glad you stuck to principles and got where you were going on your terms. Pretty mermaid on those rocks and gorgeous sunrise 🌅. You got me thinking about a moka pot, too. Why boil water, then pour it, then wait, when you can do it all in one step... Sweet journies...

Rosa! Do you find it tedious on the road to keep having to restock (gas, propane, ice, groceries) constantly? I car camp too but that’s the biggest problem I’ve faced. A lot of America is in droughts of grocery stores or open gas stations especially late at night.

I was thinking, as creative as you are at that tailgate kitchen, you could make a delicious veggie "burger". I recall a recipe book a friend had, that had about 50 different ones. That might be more work than you'd want to mess with - just a thought. I happen to like almost any burger, even though I used to be a pescatarian. I feel like any sunrise is good one. Same with sunsets. 😊

Maaaaan I've been traveling around off and on the better half of 40yrs and I NEVER find off the wall places I can swim. Pretty jealous right now lol. There have been a few but for the years I've been dicking around here I should've found more ..my lucks not that great and yeah CA and their BS fees . Good for u forwarding it out. With fuel prices, these nickle dime fees are BS. Especially as a taxpayer. We paid road tax and ya wanna charge me to drive on the road I was already charged for via fuel tax

That fee is highway robbery! Good for you that you waited at that great location, until nightfall. Nice tattoos btw. Normally I am not much for tatoos, but yours were not to overwhelming. A little art is okay, but not in the neck or face area, and not in huge numbers. A piece like that should mean something special to you and not be like a huge assenbly of what you managed to get while you were drunk enough. Have a safe journey and good luck.

I was thinking, as creative as you are at that tailgate kitchen, you could make a delicious veggie "burger". I recall a recipe book a friend had, that had about 50 different ones. That might be more work than you'd want to mess with - just a thought.
I happen to like almost any burger, even though I used to be a pescatarian.

Lol I don't even remember what meat tastes like, I became a vegetarian at 10 years old 😅 and it's never enough garlic!!
@@lifeinmyelement My ex thought she hated the taste of meat as a child until she tried a very rare steak..like raw in the middle with it cooked on the outside. It's called a 'black & blue' steak or 'Pittsburgh rare' (sorry, it's not Philly are lol) It's soooo delicious.

Maaaaan I've been traveling around off and on the better half of 40yrs and I NEVER find off the wall places I can swim. Pretty jealous right now lol. There have been a few but for the years I've been dicking around here I should've found more ..my lucks not that great and yeah CA and their BS fees . Good for u forwarding it out. With fuel prices, these nickle dime fees are BS. Especially as a taxpayer. We paid road tax and ya wanna charge me to drive on the road I was already charged for via fuel tax

That fee is highway robbery! Good for you that you waited at that great location, until nightfall. Nice tattoos btw. Normally I am not much for tatoos, but yours were not to overwhelming. A little art is okay, but not in the neck or face area, and not in huge numbers. A piece like that should mean something special to you and not be like a huge assenbly of what you managed to get while you were drunk enough. Have a safe journey and good luck.
