    Just wanted to let you know I used your wire idea to remove the balancer and it worked great. I had tried a few other ideas which were not even close. To get the balancer loose, it took a 18" breaker bar with a 3 foot piece of pipe over the end of the bar.. I was surprised the wire did not break. anyway, thanks again.

      Awesome my man glad it worked out for you, when I figured it out I was surprised myself, but you can't knock it until you try it.

    You have plenty of guts to take cars apart like that. The discipline required to get it together right is immense.

    U did haven’t to use the crank shaft puller too pull it off once u had the bolt out ?

      I did have to use one and I would advise anyone to use one as well.

    This HB bolt dose not take lots of force to brake it loose you need to worry about pressing the HB out and back on the crankshaft you will need a puller so removing the bolt is the easy part.

    • @a1da1
      @a1da1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ohh I've never had a issue taking the HB on and off it was getting the bolt out and keeping the HB still. That's the least of my worries, but I don't see why I would need the puller to remove the bolt, when I have to remove the bolt first to get the HB off.

      @@a1da1 On some if not most of HB are pressed on the crankshaft like 3 6 GM engine and it needs a puller to remove it and a press to install it after you remove the bolt.

      @@thecarfixchannel3046 ok gotcha I see what your saying, yeah your right you'll need the puller but I don't know about the press I've personally never used a press to put one on. I use a little oil on the crank and a few taps and I'm done. Thanks for the feedback. I like your channel too keep getting those hands dirty.

    My shit kept spinnin bro🤦🏾‍♂️ and the close hangers are twisted up to where its getting in the way and twisting up

    • @a1da1
      @a1da1  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@16Shottz sounds like you might have it hooked up the wrong way if it's still spinning, try going through the balancer and around the tensioner and tie the hanger together, or you could even us a rope of your got one.
