Tim, you are an Absolute ROCKSTAR!!! I ADORE all the blendings you do! They are ALL PHENOMENAL & GORGEOUS to look at and watch! Hugs my favorite crafty Friend XOXOXO
Gorgeous! Thanks Tim. I really enjoyed your explanation and demo of the ways to use the blower and metallic inks, blending solution etc. Beautiful effects and I love your creativity. ❤️💖🌸
I both look forward to your Creativation videos every year & dread them :). You do an amazing job of covering EVERYTHING, however, it's a full time job to keep up! So much to enjoy, so little time. Keep it up.
Christine, you always have the BEST videos from this event. Up close and in front of Tim!! I hope you're enjoying the show and thank you for sharing your lovely videos. Always the best quality, the best perspective....shall I keep gushing?? :-) I don't much use alcohol inks but the alloy is a game changer for me. Not that I need ANY MORE crafts, but I may be buying me some alcohol inks now.
I just bought the alloys and I love them all!! But the mined will NOT break up no matter how I shake, lay it on its side before shaking…and it’s a mess but the rest are beautiful…I feel semi jipped as these are very pricy after getting many colors just to start off with …wish I could swap that one out for a new ! Love these inks though, I can’t wait to start making bigger pieces
I agree! Doing the best videos. Sound great and good vision. Also timely in terms of up loading. Great range. Thanks. Would love to see hefty doodle...
I just love watching Tim’s demo’s showcasing all of his fabulous products, it took me while to go with his colorful but dark side (ideology), BUT now I’m hooked🤪
So I just tried alcohol inks for the first time today and I absolutely love them, well done Tim, they are now one of my favorite mediums 😁 Will definitely be getting more colors!
Thanks for demo. Did you LOOSEN the caps before hand??!! It appeared that you simply twisted the caps off. I find it extremely difficult to remove the caps. Push and twidt, ad nauseum.Pure luck when I get the csp off. Spend minutes doing this. Could you PLEASE provide a video that shows you how to do this? OTHERWISE I'm switching brands.
The Alloys have just been released this week by Ranger. You should now start seeing them online. Not sure if large craft stores will have them, but smaller stores usually buy Ranger products.
I bought the alcohol storage container and when taking my inks out to use 6 or 7 of them had leaked into the box and wee dried and stuck to the plastic ring holder! I did store them on their side as I thought they could be stored in any direction. Is this what caused this or is something else the problem ie heat etc
Ok here is a question do you have a link for that blower? Where can I get one of those? Great demonstration by the way. Never mind the question I found it. lol

Thanks for the lesson. I have some of the Alloys coming and wasn't sure how to use them. You Tube is fantastic for learning how to use new things!

I tried - but when I went by there were people sitting on the floor doing make and takes and there was no way I was getting into the booth.
ScrapTimeVideos Oh hummer! Thank you so much for trying. I really appreciate it!

If you are having difficulties with the Ranger products I suggest contacting Ranger directly.
Great video, thank you. Tim is just an absolute genius and comes across as such a nice, funny guy too. He reminds me a bit of Ryan Reynolds!
Checked out the craft store haven't heard of your alloy our baffle product. It's on your web but not able to order???

Can that blower be used on epoxy
I'm not sure. I haven't used epoxy that much.

I did store them on their side as I thought they could be stored in any direction. Is this what caused this or is something else the problem ie heat etc
My guess is they leaked because you stored them on their side. I have had my alcohol inks for probably 13 years and never had them leak.
Do you do anything with alcohol ink on glass This is all amazing
Tim primarily works on paper. But there are lots of alcohol ink artists who use them on glass.
@@ScrapTimeVideos Thank You ! I think he's great !
OMG I love this.
Ok here is a question do you have a link for that blower? Where can I get one of those? Great demonstration by the way. Never mind the question I found it. lol
The blower is now available:
RESERVE Tim Holtz ALCOHOL INK AIR BLOWER Ranger tac69096

--- ldli.co/e/gl4k7j
Where can you purchase the blower?
Simons Says Stamp and Scrapbook.com will have them - the release has just been delayed.
GOOD MORNING QUESTION ARE WE STILL USING GLOSSY PAPER FOR THE ALCOHOL INKS...
You can still use Glossy Paper - however, Yupo allows you to try more techniques since the inks sit on the surface and don't get absorbed.
@@ScrapTimeVideos yupo ??? so and heavy weight card stock will do...
No - it has to have a glossy type surface or else the inks will be absorbed. I just meant glossy vs Yupo.
@@ScrapTimeVideos thanks also trying to find the shimmer card stock any suggestions where i can find it?
Simon Says Stamp and Scrapbook.com usually carry all of Ranger and Tim's products.
Man. Tim's like my Elvis. I just wanna hang out and bs with him about art, making, color...everything!! *sigh*
Thanks for the vídeo!”
can you use alcohol ink on photo paper
You can but it isn't recommended. I think it is because of the emulsions on the paper. Right now the best choice is Yupo.
@@ScrapTimeVideos ... thank you.
Photo papers will react just like Yupo if you use the MATTE side, not the shiny side.
@@Rhea444 thank you for the info. I have a lot of small size photo papers that I was hoping I could use.
WOW!!!
He’s got to be talking about Jennifer McGuire…….she’s an incredible artists.
