Good info about finger tight before torque. Walmart just made this mistake on my wife's hub centric front tire. It was only off a hair but it made the front end feel like it was gonna come apart.
I just tried pulling my own rear wheel off my 2014. Not that I had much of a choice on how much fuel was in the tank but wow a lot came out. So much so I had to stop before the first lug nut was loose and right the bike back up. I want others to know this as I didn't know. Let's avoid fires and fumes. Not sure where exacly where the fuel came from but please be aware of fuel spillage. Fuel is also very flammamable and very slippery. If you have a spill be aware of where it goes so that you don't risk anything.
If you own one, You should really take the Honda Goldwing course. Make sure side stand is down. From the right side of the bike. butt on the seat facing away from the bike, right hand on the rear grab handle, left hand on handle bar. Push up with your legs not your back until the bike lands on the side stand.
@@RideWNC I've seen this trick but with the new front suspension design looks like the handlebars are connected via an aluminum spindle. Not sure if putting that much leverage would be a good thing for these models.
Brute strength. I knocked my 2004 over today like an idiot (Broke the right side mirror). Actually grabbed the luggage rack in the back and stood it back up. Probably an adrenaline rush too though because I sooooo mad I had just broken my mirror. UGH!!!!

Time :45 tells you to make sure the tank is empty. All your gas pours out of the cap. The gas cap of most Honda's does not seal tightly.
What length breaker bar do you use?
The lugs are only 80 FTLBs. It is a standard size 1/2 drive Snap-On rachet.
How do you get the bike back up?

@@byunism You just answered your own question. This video is on a 2008. The new Goldwing a toddler can remove the wheel from the back of the bike.

Start watching at 5:10 all the specs you need.
HA. Tell me you didn't watch the video without telling me.
I watched it. You spent more time talking about how you weren't giving away the specs than it took to give them. Sorry. I like to aggrevate
