All of these songs have been portrayed masterfully. My favorites were Andrew York and Johannes Moller. Such emotions, passion, precision, perfection from these 2 men has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for posting this. Those guitars all were made in the 1800's and still have superb quality of sound. Very impressive!❤👏👏👏👏👏👏

That first one is magical. George does an excellent job as usual. I've watched a couple of his vids here and he's one of my favorites. Just plays without all the facial silliness of some of the others. Well done!

This video taught me that one should be listening as one is playing. I play Fingerstyle and all these artists are listening to the sounds of the music more than looking at what they are doing on the guitar. Big learning lesson for me is to "Open Up My Ears" when playing. To feel the music just as much as you are playing.

that thought in your mind as you practice and play and everything will fall into place. Once you feel that passion you have opened yourself to really playing.

Nathan, mate, Torres guitars are the guitar equivalent of Stradivarius violins. They're that big a deal. Torres single handedly invented the modern guitar, everything we think of as standard in a guitar today is something that he came up with, for example having 6 single strings (most guitars before then had double strings for each string, like you'd see on a modern 12 string guitar, which is just a 6 string guitar with each string being doubled, playing the exact same note but just at a higher octave). So not only are they basically still the best classical guitars out there, they're also incredibly historically important, they're museum pieces. So yeah, you're not gonna ever buy one. Nobody here is. There's plenty of fantastic classical guitars out there these days that are as good in quality as these but are a fraction of the price, and also are guitars you'll actually play. These Torres guitars, even if you owned one, you'd never want to play them or even touch them, because of the risk of accidentally damaging them. You would rather be safe than sorry. That's why instruments like these and Stradivarius violins are mostly in museums, with very few being regularly played anymore.

I find it very disturbing that there is no mention of the strings used. I feel a very large % of the sound is determined by where it originates- the string. Try Optima Gold wounds and Gut plains on any guitar and you will see what I mean. Of course nails or no nails, and the player matters. But ı find it shameful that such supposedly well thought of demos dont mention the strings used. Am I wrong?
