A very interesting and beautiful documentary of the wonderful Torres who is part of the history at the beginning of one of the World's most popular musical instruments.
really enjoyed this vid... great idea to follow up based on the book... very interesting outline of his life...would be even more perfect if the vid included some leading players playing and describing the perfected sound and design and what made these guitars so unique... even some measuring electronic machines to display resonance and air pressure... responsible for timber projection and signature sound...(more complex detail) ... but great effort for the film produced...thanks
What if his guitars are cursed? Every time his wife dies he makes a guitar. Guitars good. But too much suffering in life. Almost like some dark forces torturing him, or God is abusing the man.
back then the lifespan was not all that great. you had diseases like TB or BLACK DEATH not to mention all the others. Then there was a war fought about every 10 years and hoped you would survive. but what a craftsman torres was , incredible.
