Curious about the review. I know some people rave about it after hearing it in practice. It would add something different to my collection of IEMs Graphs are a guide, mot to judge a device since the same graph can actually sound different.
I am sure it does something well or they had some QC issues getting consistent drivers. I sent mine to Michael Bruce who didn't like it at all and tore it apart to retune it. The driver is nice, the tuning was a specialist that neither of us liked. I will say that both of us tend to triage sets by stage first as that requires balance and extension, but if those aren't your priority, might work well.
True and if you look at how P1 handled 2k-6k with a gentle arc up, that is what it needed or split the difference if Sivga wanted a more relaxed sound. They just dipped a bit too low and P1 graph is probably perfect for EQ'ing it
thank you for the review! when did midcentric became dark? why does everyone need boosted treble these days? pretty much every headphone specially hifiman arent natural sounding but much to bright to sound life like because of this strange trend. When i read a review, where someone says a headphone is bad, because its missing treble shimmer, i become interested in that headphone. at least thats my opinion. but to each his own.
I am with you there and I have talked about other planars in that way, natural levels of treble. The point at which you dip the presence area too far, not saying it should be boosted, but it should have been closer to level. And some reviews are done at lower volume so the treble boost works in that case but for medium volume, it sounds less natural. There is a whole white paper there but I appreciate your point as I have talked about it as well.
The graph looked ok at first glance or at least it would be flat, but when you take a closer look and hear how the tuning works, it was a tough road to go down at the price they wanted to charge.
Thank you, Paul! 🎉
Dioko inspired design. Thanks Paul, I don't feel like these new planars are not really bringing new stuff on what we saw before.
This one came close to bringing back Tin P1, probably EQ it there and would be nice.
A expensive experiment eh!

I think I prefer the Plunge unity over this if I was ever going for a unique tuning IEM, this one just isn't my cup of tea
Excellent review but these guys priced themselves right out of the market, rights off the bat.
The price is up there, even with the wood.
Reminds me of the og tinhifi p1

i see, thank you for your detailed feedback, much appreciate! @@PaulWasabii
they said 14,5 planar is a garbage! and the manufacturer ask for 280 with that kind of tuning and drivers, I say WTF !!!
The price is an issue, it is too far at the upper range to not have class leading tuning and driver.
that graph’s a yikes from me fam
