can not find a solid video/forum covering how to remove the bottom section of the lower intake manifold, this guy dove deep into detail and covered all bases 🙌🏻 so easy 26:03
You’re most welcome, I’m glad you found the video helpful! Honestly the lower intake manifold was probably the hardest part of an otherwise fairly straightforward head removal, thought it would be helpful to show exactly where the bolts/nuts are so that people don’t have to spin their wheels like I had to haha. Thanks for watching! 😀
Glad you liked the video! Regarding part 2, I just finished pulling the engine/transmission so editing is in progress. Video should be up in 2 weeks or so. Thanks for watching! :)
@@HOTRODRICO Hello! Unfortunately I discovered that some footage was corrupted during filming which means I will have to reshoot those parts. So I won’t be able to post the video anytime soon as reshooting takes a while. 🙁
If u are in my country I do all work from .you . To my car .. Because your working is very clean and fantastic. But I see everytime your vdieo I learnings slow slow. Thank you so much for great vdieo and great work. 👍 😊
thank you man, such great detail. I really appreciate all the work you put into these video! 12:02 is the ACIS really about power and torque or more noise control? I tried 0-60 tests with it working and defeated and saw no difference.
@@jvst20051 in the next video, I will be showing how to pull the block from the car and disassemble it. The block is currently at the machine shop getting bored and honed, so it might be a while before I can put the head back on. I will definitely make a video for it though once I can!
Unfortunately not, as this is my daily driver and I don’t want to deal with the hassle of getting it smogged with a standalone ECU. I do have plans to go down the NA-T route in the future with another chassis, and when I do I will most definitely document that here on my channel. Thanks for watching! :)
@@theautochap Ah nice man! I'm looking forward to that build! I've got an 04 gs300 that I've replaced valve cover gaskets and spark plugs and wires with help from your vids!
Just got back the engine from the machine shop, I’m currently working on reassembling the engine unit and hope to have that video up soon. Thanks for watching! 😀
There are some steps that are n I t required for NON-VVTI ge heads. The is a vvti 2jzge head(no distributor, intake cam is completely different for starters). Just keep this detail in mind if you're watching and you have a 92-94 sc300 with a ge non vvti cylinder head.
Thank you once again for an excellent video 👍🙏👍 Like you, I have no plans to add a turbo to my 2000 GS300. Q: Curious what you use for steps? Chilton? Haynes? Looking forward to your next video. 👍 👍 😎 👍
Hi Pale Rider, appreciate the kind words and thank you for watching! :) Since Chilton/Haynes do not make a manual for our cars (very weird because they seem to have one for IS 300s), I use the official Toyota/Lexus factory service manual. It is the most complete service manual you could ask for and has literally everything you ever need while working on a 2nd gen. GS 300. You can purchase it for around 32 USD at the link: www.emanualonline.com/search/?q=2004%20gs300 Hope that helps! And the next video in the series is coming soon, so stay tuned :)
Before commenting something like this, why don’t you watch the video and pay some attention? I literally explain why I said that and made a whole chapter for it at 31:57 too.

Going turbo on my sc300 and this was super helpful. There were some differences between the 2 cars but overall the same.
That sounds like a fun project, all the best with it!

Good point! However the non vvti head on SC 300s is 1992-97, not just 92-94.
Wish one is the number one peton
No. 1 piston is the one closest to the front of the engine.
