The Finance secretary is brilliant, cutting through all the politically driven arguments for enabling states' fiscal profligacy and freebie culture presented by Latha, and shining the light for fiscal prudence and wise growth oriented govt spending. May he have a bright future upon superannuation.

He is a PhD in Economics. He is also a CA, and CS snd published numerous research papers on accounting and finance. It shows. Ideal man to take over as FM in New political innings. Of not at least the RBI governorship.
