I chatted to a girl when doing Paris marathon and she said her home town Cologne marathon is brilliant fun (bands, beer, support), I think Ellie would enjoy it!
Totally saving these places. Copenhagen is on my list, but only the half-marathon one. Thanks for sharing these! Btw these funky bottles elites decorate always make me giggle. Such a fun thing to do!
Been a pleasure following your comeback! I kept a close eye on your splits during the marathon, hoping you would smash it. 😉 Massive running inspiration for me, and I wish you all the best in the future!✌️
Ben, I love the fact that you're reusing bottles. It warms my heart, and all's I can say is that I hope it worked for you! I can't wait to learn how the 26.2 went. You're already a champ in our eyes!
Having run Eindhoven marathon last year i can definitely recommend it. Nice flat course, lots of crowd support and weather in october is usually perfect for running. Also Eindhoven has it's own airport but getting to Eindhoven from Amsterdam/Schiphol airport is also very easy/quick. I'm planning of running the half marathon there as a tune up race for Valencia
I saw that there was a live stream of the event so I watched until you finished! Great finishing time, well done! Look forward to seeing what you manage later in the year
Watched the live stream and saw you with the leading lady, i was cheering you from Australia, well done, i felt you had taken your foot off the pedal , hope u ok , sub 2.30 amazing 😊
I would love if you came to cologne marathon. I'm participating in my first half marathon there and it would just be the cherry on top to meet you there too. But I'll just have to see and wait what you chose to run. Anyway can't wait for the content keep up the great work. 👍
Might want to consider Antwerp marathon, also in october! Belgium's most popular marathon with a fun, flat parcours and a lot of people cheering you on!
Hey Ben! Massive fan just wanted to say you're a huge inspiration to me. Convinced me a month ago to pick running back up after dropping it after an injury years ago, thank you
I ran my first Marathon this last Sunday in Copenhagen and boy was it a blast. Didn't manage to meet and great you though ;(. In October there is also the Graz Marathon, Austria's second largest city :)
I usually run 🏃♂️ 5k races as an amateur and have noticed my time improving when I did no training just complete rest for 3 or 4 days before a race .. its only a short distance but it works for me, now I'm considering a 10k this summer...
Hi Ben - how would you recommend refueling electrolytes during a marathon? I also ran Copenhagen and everything okay till 29-30k. Then i got some bad cramps, which made the last k's very challenging.
$125-$200USD for a pair of shorts is absolutely crazy. I hope I'm never seriously looking to buy shorts that expensive. I felt bad spending $50USD on running shorts.
Pastries are not carbohydrates, they have too much fats, and not the good ones. You should get a nutritionist cause you have plenty room for improvement there.
@@laurencharltonn first read the caption. Pastries are empty calories and should not be eaten before an important event. As a “dietitian” you should have known that. No matter if one likes them or not. Before a marathon race the focus is on quality carbs and some protein. A good dietitian knows that and the formula is also very simple.

I did Eindhoven last year. Highly recommended. In general Marathons in the Netherlands is a must if you look for fast flat courses.
I'm watching this one week before my first half-marathon in Gdynia. Good luck!!
Brilliant, Thanks for taking the time to put this together Ben
Love watching this guy, an incredible inspiration

Yay for getting your name on your bib! Best of luck Ben!
What shirt are you wearing here? 10:51 Unbelievably cool
Also, this is a nice watch the day before my first marathon :)
What's the thinking behind the two different gels. Different periods of the race? Change up of flavour?
How was the Superblast 2 ben? Looking forward for the review 🎉
A hint that maybe you are a Jedi @ 4:22? 🤔 Ben Kenobi perhaps? Made me laugh 😂

My Canadian ears heard you were shopping for crafts to decorate your « balls » with… « bottles » right?! 😂
This is the first time hearing about the Soar competition, but it says it ended five days ago. :/ Oh well. Best of luck Ben!
$125-$200USD for a pair of shorts is absolutely crazy. I hope I'm never seriously looking to buy shorts that expensive. I felt bad spending $50USD on running shorts.

You should add protein to your oats bro

lol. I’m a registered dietitian and would recommend pastries if they work for Ben 😅
