    The tongue gives it a sense of having agency, not being a mindless undead creature. Bravo!

    DAMN!! I don't know how I missed this video. When I picture a dracolich, that is what I imagine it would be like. Totally freaking awesome Leif 🤘🤘🤘 It has such a meaty raw look !!

    Fantastic. Great work with the colours. It would've been so easy to just paint it bone.
    I saw your Space Hulk episode and then started looking through your early content. Good stuff.

    I understand. I have over 200 unopened boosters of unpainted miniatures. If need arises I will use unpainted on table but I like being able to walk over and look through them and choose 1 to paint.

    • @DevsDice
      @DevsDice  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is kind of nice choosing one but seeing them boxes.. that’s the painful bit ;)

    • @davinci3259

      @@DevsDice Yeah it can be a little overwhelming but just knowing I have a big selection to choose from feels good. I just saved enough until I could get free shipping. When the majority of miniatures you are buying are between $3-$5 a $120 can get you a good selection.

      That’s good foresight and planning that is! :) good tip for people in general when they want loads of minis! :)

    Nice... did you try washing the wings? Cos, I notice there are some veins there that could pop out with a red wash.... just a thought.

    Got my Ravenloft Dracolich not so long ago...and to be honest i`m a bit scared to spoil the mini. You showed me how to aproximately paint it! Very nice job, thank you

      Thank YOU for commenting Daniel! I know that feeling, I have it all the time. I try to tell myself that the secret of being brave is to paint even though you are afraid and you know what - regardless of what happens, you will have learned something. So thinking of it that way, you can only succeed - not fail 🤘😃

    Ive never seen that one before.
    Nice work.

      It's part of the D&D boardgame, Ravenloft I think! Thanks it was one of my first minis painted! :D

    Really inspiring! I love how the Dracolich turned out! One of the best, if not the best, I have seen across the web!
    I have a question if you have the time to answer: I'm painting my Castle Ravenloft miniatures too (and that's the way I found your videos), but I had some problems with sticky miniatures after mat varnishing with aerosol can.
    I'm curious what aerosol primers and varnishes you use for the DnD Adventure System Games and soft plastic in general and you can recommend. Now I'm using brush on products, but would like to save some time and effort eventually.

    • @DevsDice
      @DevsDice  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Of course I have time! :) Generally when it comes to aerosol primers I usually use Citadel, Army Painter or Vallejo primers. The same brands are used when it comes to Varnish as well with the addition of Krylon Matt Varnish.
      One thing that you will have to pay attention to is of course how much and how close you prime. Generally use short bursts, the general distance I use is about 30-40cm away from the miniature. Also use sweeping moves when priming.
      Finally, gauge what humidity you have at the moment, I know people say that it affects the end result but me personally I have not experienced that.
      I hope this helps you! Thanks for the nice comment!

    Nice. But you’ve opened up the debate about the wing colour. Should it be more like the bone colour or the spinal things are the colour of the dragon. Check my Instagram StompingFreak for the undead dragon from my box of shame. Great video.

    Yeah, I have quite the pile of shame... but, withthe pandemic going on, I'm starting to put quite the dent on it!
    The only problem now is... where the heck do I put all my painted minis, now?

    • @DevsDice
      @DevsDice  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha! I know that feeling! For myself I got some display cabinets from IKEA which kind of works! Also, there are those cases where one can store minis! :)
