I'd been hearing the poor man's blushda in the playing of a lot of gospel guys and I randomly stumbled upon it myself when I was playing paradiddlediddles between crash and snare, but I replaced the left diddle with a rimshot (RLRRLL -> RLRRL). Another way I thought of approaching it is as a herta with the second right extended into a diddle, thus converting into a right-led side paradiddle (RLR L -> RLRRL)
