Could you show how you sharpen your tools like bevels and other hand tools that need to be maintained.
The only thing I “sharpen” is my ibexworks skiving knife. 1000+ grit wet dry paper and red imp strop
Wouldn’t having a fold on a stitch line be a week point and quicker wear?
This is 5/6 oz Dublin. It’ll be fine for 89 to 135 years of daily use . 👍

Something surprises me is that up you use your Dremel to sand your work, why not use it to burnish it as well? I made my own burnishes to fit my Dremel. Why buy them when I can make them myself, right?

Is there a reason no one seems to skive the leather down to 1mm or less when making wallets like this? It's so thick and bulky and the leather surely allows for much thinner panels in terms of durability. I'm just a consumer so I'm probably asking a very silly question :)
Not a silly question. Some use thinner leather out of the gate. My clients prefer and have come to expect thick. If someone is after a thinner wallet, I’m not the maker for them. Not a problem.
@@MasconLeather Ah I see so it was just a coincidence I never saw a thin one :) Here in Europe we mostly have bifold wallets that aren't even real leather most of the time, and when browsing quality hand-made ones I only see ones like Yours. Clearly it's very good and popular, it just sparked my curiosity :)
