Khon Kaen , Thailand Train Moves January 2009

During the 2000s I visited Thailand a few times to record the fascinating rail system in the country. I have released videos before but only in short length forms but this will be the first of a series of full videos looking at one particular area in one specific year, To start Thai year 2552, Western year 2009, Khon Kaen in the North East province of Issan which was my base for many of these trips. I now realise this I captured a golden age of this station which has been completely re-modelled and now and has a huge concrete viaduct spanning the city.
The station is a key point on the line between Bangkok and the Laos border
Interspersed between the Express DMUs and the local DMUs we see the quaint Rok Tok P-way trolleys, Propane trains to the North with empties returning. Cement trains and other moves
