As someone who doesn't have easy access to a wall to do wall drills regularly, this is absolutely game-changing for me! Thank you so so much Ed! You're amazing!
One of the best drill videos I've ever seen. I will start practicing daily following this video. I also love the use of top spin pro at home for shadow practicing various shots. If you have more examples of using it in at home drills, please share! Ed - You are such an amazing learner and teacher. Thank you.
Those drills are great and I like doing them before I go to the courts as a pre-warmup. But I would add spinning the ball off the paddle face forehand (left spin and right spin) and backhand (left spin and right spin). But great video!
Nice one, Ed. Since you do a lot of "drills at home" videos, Would you ever consider doing a review or side-by-side comparison of the quiet balls available in the market right now? Would love to hear your thoughts on them.
I haven’t tried any of them yet, but I have my eyes on the ninja ball! My initial thoughts are I’m a bit skeptical to train with a ball that doesn’t respond in the same way as a real pickleball- however, I’ll have to give it try to find out for sure.
@@edjupickleball Ah, nice. Yeah, there's a few brands out there right now that sell quiet balls and they're all made uniquely. Apparently, some do replicate a regular ball bounce while some doesn't. I bought one recently that's coming in soon. Never heard of ninja ball til now and looks like the most expensive of the quiet balls I've seen out there.
I've been teaching several of these for quite some time.. Problem is we "assume" our students n ourselves ALL have the same level of athleticism.. These are really good.. I have students do the First two while WALKING!! I call it "walk n chew gum"... Good video...
On the paddle drills bouncing the ball, why is it that I can’t seem to be able to do that. I also can’t drill off the wall without it bouncing. Does that mean I am holding the handle too tight and I’m not relaxed? The ball goes all over uncontrollably.

Ed - How would one use the code you provided to purchase, say the top spin pro? I did not see any place in the check out process to enter the code
Can you shoot me a DM on Instagram? I’ll send ya a private link. Topspin doesn’t want it to be public.

Doing that paddle roll like Bowie did with crystal balls…
