I just bought a c5 as an open box item. I believe they have a 9 frame per second rate, correct? I notice the example footage in this video from 10:48 looks very smooth and crisp, but mine does not have such a clear image or smooth motion. Is the example footage shown briefly in this video actually representative of the live view?? I'm worried mine is damaged.
Hi...the infrared video seen at 10:48 was existing file footage that we inserted strictly for illustrative purposes only to demonstrate the concept of auto adjust. It was captured using a different thermal imager. Our sincere apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
Hello, I would like to take/trigger remotely some thermal pictures. Is it possible with the C5 ? Globally, I need the camera to be higher and farer from a human body while taking crop field images. So I would like to have it on a pole/mast and trigger remotely the images.

What do you do with the update bar that just stays in the same spot for two days. PURE JUNK. C5 camera is garbage along with all the entry level cameras that FLIR sells. Should me marked “disposable” on packaging

I've added notes to each image after taking them however these notes don't appear once imported into the flir desktop software??? What's the point??

Hi...unfortunately there is no remote triggering option on the FLIR C5. The new Exx and EST models, however, do have this capability.
Can I upload my pics directly to my phone library (iphone) ?
Yes, the C5 should connect to the FLIR Tools app using a WiFi connection.
Does this allow to record thermal videos?
Unfortunately it does not. It is a shame a device this expensive can't record videos.

im using a flir tool app via pc using the usb cable...i cant connect my c5 on flir tools but i can view all my files on my pc like an external storage

It is easy. Just tap the screen and it shows up on the top.
once i transfer the images from the C5 to my phone, can i use PRO TOOLS for additional tweaking?
Yes, you will have to move the images to Flir>Images folder and then tweek your images

What a grift. All I want is send images from the C5 to my phone... I don't FLIR to have them.
