Hey Amanda I thought I let you know when you draw with pen over crayons or color pencils watch out for the wax in them. They'll eventually clog the pen stopping the ink from flowing which will ruin your pens. I've lost a few good micron pens that way😄
As a dutch person (Belgium) i LOVE that you did this theme!! It's so nostalgic and sweet. And dw Nijntje is very hard to pronounce if you don't speak dutch lol. I can't even type out how you would pronounce the 'ij' sound
now that I think about it the sound of 'ij' is best to describe as how you'd say 'nine'. but then ni - tje haha if this description makes any sense at all

Really like your nijntje theme. The brown bunny is called Nina, Melanie is the brown bear with the freckles. The dog is called snuffie. Im a dutchie and have a son of 1.5 years old so i read the books a lot and see the videos too. ❤

I bought a set of Nijntje washi tapes a couple months ago, but wasn't quite sure how I wanted to set up a theme with it. This is super useful as inspiration! What an absolutely adorable theme!! Once again hitting it out of the park :) I was just in Japan over the summer (for two weeks) so totally happy to share my itinerary + all the recommendations. We had a blast!
I once went to amsterdam and they were having this event where artists decorated their own miffy statue and these statues were all over the city. That's when i learned that miffy was dutch. I even got a ceramic miffy magnet holding the dutch flag in my room right now as part of my magnet collection
I've been a little doodle for more than 5 years and I'm really happy that you're coming to Japan again:) Fall is a good season to travel in Japan because not so many Japanese people are traveling (they're all working) and it's not too hot or too cold. I wish I could see you here in Japan 😂 I hope you have a wonderful trip 💕
Nijntje is so nostalgic to me because when I was little my parents used to read all the book to me before going to sleep and at one point I could recite some of the books! and the second time you tried to pronounce Nijntje it was almost perfect
If you ever make it to the Netherlands, make sure to visit Utrecht! We have several Nijntje statues and ofcourse a Nijntje Museum! The artist who created her lived in Utrecht :)
Through trial and error I discovered that creative bujo spreads are just not my forté. I'm definitely more of a notion girlie and I stick to a minimal supporting bujo. I will be travelling this month, so I will take inspiration from your spreads and apply it to my notion pages 😊

And in the city Utrecht (which was the city the illustrator of Nijntje lived in I believe) there are traffic lights with Nijntje instead of the little man. I don't know if the traffic lights are still there, but they were so cute!! You actually did a really great job illustrating her ❤

It’s known as the “Little Edo Town” of Japan, and you can see a nice mix of traditional and modern buildings. You can get lots of good food too, including sweet potato desserts. 😁 If I bump into you by chance, it would be so awesome! I love your videos so much! 🥹😭

If you can get a booking for pokemon and kirby cafe worth a visit also the ghibly theme park also need booking. Disney land, USJ of course. Nara for the deers. Can you do a sanrio theme? Sanrio is big in Japan even more now so you can get lots of inspiration. Oh! The sanrio theme park is amazing!
