I think, a very Shy, timid, subject or Person will be harder to Photograph, especially when asking them to be FREE, RELAX, ENJOY THE MOMENT, etc. Patience will be REQUIRED.

I also have a teen son, that is also a senior this year, would love to see more ideas for them. They seem to be more limited! So I guess I'm looking for something more unique. Instead of just like everybody else's. 😒 Girls are easier in this area.

I struggle with the walking posed because my camera looses focus from their face. I shoot with the Canon 5d mark iv with the 70-200 2.8 using one shot AF focus. Someone suggested shooting AI-servo. What do you guys use? What are your typical settings for walking poses (aperture, shutter,)?
Typically f2.5, we use AF-C, single point focus and shutter speed is almost always 1/200 or higher even.
Also, for Portrait shoots, if possible try to rent or buy a 1.8 - 85mm lens or if you can afford, a 1.4 85mm lens for your Portrait Photography

Creating portraits correctly with some variety of poses done well is something that a Customer will always enjoy, but you must closely review you images BEFORE showing to your Client!
