Thank you so much!!! I had someone "voluntell" me to photograph homecoming and court, and I needed to crash course this. Helped a lot.

Thanks Leslie! I have a senior session today and I have been wanting to try more sitting poses, and this video gave me some inspiration and confidence! I would love to see posing with a chair or bench, like an at outdoor cafe or in a park.

Thank you! Love your simple poses. I'm just a simple person about to shoot my lovely niece graduation pictures. I'm very excited. She's very shy but let's me take pictures once in while and love them. Wish me good luck.

Criss Cross Applesauce...Do I need to pay you a Royalty to use that saying? I could have used that 11 years ago when I photographed my son's Senior Pictures. I have scheduled a Homecoming Shoot and Senior Pictures for May of 2023 and it will be here soon. Thanks for opening up my eyes to some new techniques

Leslie, your video's are fab.. however, the sound consistency is kinda all over the place.. music is LOUD, then dialog is hardly discernible. This is happening on your other videos as well.

When I come to this video from others , the sound is deafening. I dont know why TH-cam cant normalize Audio levels.

These poses are not good at all. Here's why...never pose someone with the back or the palm of their hand to the camera. You need to arrange their hands so that only the edges of their hands are visible. All in all the poses are awkward, none really created a separation between their arms and body, ergo making their body appear fatter or thicker than it is. If you're doing graduating senior photography I do not recommend following this woman's advice. All of her photos look like snapshots with excess clutter, and almost every pose is wrong. There are rules in posing, and yes you can break them, but not for every photo you take--especially if you're getting paid for your work. I've shot graduating seniors and models for years and all of these shots would be throwaways for me--I would never give something like this to a client. Herein lies one of the problems with TH-cam, anyone can profess be a photographer and people who don't know better, and are attempting to learn it, are misled into thinking they've found someone who knows what they're talking about. Again--do not copy this woman's poses--they're all wrong and her composition is awful. Whoever told her she was a good photographer lied to her.
