I love it when the back gears hit the ground. Then suddenly all the others roll.
if this was real, this would be the new st. maarten favorite, instead of the boeing 747 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
Amazing, this beauty flew over my house at around 5000 feet when it was on final for Eindhoven Airport. The sound of those six engines was amazing.
EADS🛬⚖️
I just love FSX. Every thing is possible. In vitual flights.
It landed in 1995 after Hurricane Louis - It unloaded 1/2 its cargo in Curacao as the runway was too short in St marten . Returned later that day for the remaining 1/2 load.
I flew in here a few times on an AN124. We could not land with even half cargo so we had to offload a lot in Curacao. Take off toward the mountain was scry. You could not get an AN225 in here.
Great video!
@5D-21 YEUNG MING YUET first of all this is FSX and secondly she's just saying that its a good vid lmao
St. Marrten's strip is 7,152 feet long and the An-225 Myriya needs over 9,400 feet to rotate at MTOW and over 11,000 feet for landing.
With that same plane I did a landing on rwy 28 coming over the mountains straight in. I jammed the stick forward and pulled it back, made an early touchdown but super smooth
I don't know why people are getting soo butthurt over this. You could have already tell it wasn't real by the preview pic. And my guess, I would say this is Fight Simulator X.
I'd say xp11, and the people is an addon mod.
Nebuzi x plane 11 doesnt exist at that time...
Ksam96Trini well it is FSX because of the addon link in the description as well as the addon scenery involved
THIS is cool. Nice! Antonov 225 as well as the 747. What always seemed crazy to me landing at Princess Juliana is that it always looks like the landing gear bogies are going to hit the fence yet they always miss by what seems like inches. Anyway well done landing that beast there!
Greased it! Been there done that for real, you have to be very steady on a heavy AC. Good Job, I don't have the time do do it on the computer, seems harder for me to do than behind the left seat.
this video is definitely 51k subscriber making material. crystal clear and smooth
LOVE IT! MATE! JUST LOOK AT THAT BEHEMOTH OF A FLYING MACHINE!
well done ... :-) .. I'm thinking that would be a favourite holiday spot; waves and planes!!
Hey Jon, I absolutely liked this video! Unfortunately, I don't understand what you are talking because I don't know English well, but I love watching your videos. You are the best. Go ahead and best wishes to you from Brasil. Rubens.
Now hop on over to St. Barths. It will get down and stopped (and reverse and take off again) no load with between 10-15% fuel if you land towards the hill. Is this the 225 freeware by Tom? What did you do to get the panning camera?
Fun. Excellent execution on landing. Prob with the An225 landing at TNCM is it would have to turn round at end of runway, taxi back to the Taxiway B, I think it is, and go direct to take-off position. Of course, the insurance adjusters would be out doing their thing after Godzillasky lined up for departure. Saw that thing in person. One of my favorite big boy sky-birds. it is a 'mere' 30ft wider than the 380 and some 45ft longer but the 380's tail gives it 79ft to the An225's 59ft, if I remember correctly.
I know Concorde visited Pr's Juliana (198c Dec 17). I would have loved to have witnessed both that arrival & departure. I wonder if there were any fence-riders for THAt departure.
anyway, thank you for sharing this.
and inform some of those flight sim is for av geeks only real pilots use sims much much more than the ignorant would care to reckon.
thanks for sharing.
It's amazing how many people are pissed off because the video is CGI or a computer game. It's a 225 landing at St. Martens. He is showing you something that you will never see. The plane looked amazing for a simulator game.
+John Rambo Ok... I always read the description before I make a hasty comment ,but Explain...if St. Maarten accepts the world's heaviest commercial jets ,why this one should be too big for her airport ? That makes no sense. I'm not _pissed off_ bytheway...just curious...
***** I just don't think the owners of the only flying 225 would ever risk landing or taking off at that airport. This plane is massive. Is the runway long enough for the 225? Is it possible for the 225 to clear the mountain rage on takeoff or be able to bank safely that quickly after takeoff? That is why I said never. But I'm no expert at all. So maybe it will happen someday.
John Rambo Ok. thanks...that makes sense.

what game is this flight simulator or something else
Totally made my day, Awesome vid! Doesn't look like there was even a scratch, from the barbed wire fence on the gear during your landing.
The design of the An-124 and An-225 makes it look badass!!
Until we do… And The Antonov is now destroyed… Rest In Peace…
Excellent graphics, very entertaining.
My god, An Antanov...landing on Sint Maarten? So jealous! Great video1
THAT would be SWEET! I have always wanted to see one those bad boys in person and wow... great job on that vid!
Nice video! I love the 225's landing gear, it looks like its on inline skates.
Perfect touchdown! a question to u out of topic, i do fly on FSX as well, but most of time on multiplayer, after a while of not using FSX i find that Gamespy is not longer associated with Microsoft, and so the issue is no connection is possible unless if you head to one of the most Popular Hosting websites for FSX, but still no chance to get a place out there... it's just too complicated and nee many untrusted tools required to download. So i would like to know if you are one of FSX Multiplayer user, what can u recommend for me? And thank u in advance.
Once again, Amazing video!
Antonov? Antonov was destroyed by the Russians in a bombing in the war against Ukraine...🙁
Who still remembers watching this as a kid?
Now imagine if one had to make an emergency landing in St. Maartin, that would be a sight to see. I would pay to see the takeoff.
It would be cool to see but they would reduce the weight and the take off would be a big nothing. I saw the 225 fly right overhead on approach into McChord in Tacoma, Washington. The glide path southbound goes right over Puget Sound Avenue, which was where I was working at the time. I did not know what the plane was but you never a forget huge plane with three engines on each wing and a double tail.
What addons do you have? Thats a very detailed st maarteen with people and everything! It even sounds like you can hear people chattering
Fantastic. We can only dream. What if. Excellent animation and graphics etcetera.........
Does the performance numbers of the plane allow it to actually land on a runway that short?
Thanks
Great simulation
The length of the runway there might make things a bit tricky. Getting it off the ground again? Good luck with that
That was a nice video to watch. Why didn't you show the take off?
I actually haven't since then. Shame since I was just getting into filming videos from multiplayer sessions right before all that happened.
do a takeoff with the 225 on a really short runway, use a strong headwind to help with shortening the ground roll distance.
Good job on the sim, and nice editing too.
Timothy Townsend why you can see it's a simulator from the thumbnail, you might be going blind...
Are there any AN225 still in existence? I had heard they were scrapped. I had the pleasure of touring the smaller 4 engine AN (don't remember the model) when it stayed over where I once worked as line service agent.
Can you please make a part two and a part three to show the more likely scenarios where the Antonov takes out the fence and blows all the beachgoers away?, Or overshoots the runway into the mountain??
CultPackPsychopaths Unmasked you can't do that in this game lol
225s sister came to my town Adelaide Australia was very cool!
YPAD
Nice landing...you barely miss the fence...i have the flight simulator X gold edition.recently i added the add-ons of the 747-400(Queen of the skies)and the PMDG 737 NGX.
I love all the people who say this video is fake, when it says "this would be the coolest thing to see in real life". People these days.
It's because they don't read or their brains are too small for understanding and comprehension to survive more than two micro seconds.
I managed to capture the An-225 Landing at YYZ on Monday...it is so big.. there are 32 wheels on the landing gear!
YYZ Spotting HD Wow! I wish I were you. That must have been a sight.
Indeed...it was so crowded on both end of the Runway...it was cold, but it is all worth it in the end :)
***** Not to mention the aircraft is almost freeware detail on the exterior including animations....
I don't think it's to big for the airport if it can land and takeoff it's just fine btw did you download that plane?
Are you running some mod, or expansion pack that is making your graphics and weather look more realistic then the standard FSX graphics, mine suck.
For short strips I usually hold the brakes and give full engine throttle untill they've revved up only then release the brakes, it makes you accelerate faster and you'll need less distance to take off :)
Nice job ! Now try the same on St Barthelemy !
Would it even be possible or safe for that matter
Wish I knew how to do that. Good perspective work.
Two things I would love to see. An An-225 and St. Maarten! Not necessarily together. I was once fortunate enough to spot an An-124 on the ground at Raleigh-Durham International in North Carolina several years ago, and took some pics. Definitely the largest plane I've ever seen.
WOW!! Can we get a cockpit view of this takeoff and landing?
Also, have you ever made videos of the Courchevel airport in france?
Generally how close to the ground an advanced aircraft is allowed to fly.? Will it not crash land?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! NANO
Beautiful graphics. But I have to ask, since the A224 is a heavy equipment hauler, is there any reason that it ever has to land on St. Maarten?
Nice video, downloading the model now. I didnt know Gamespy quit, I am sure you will have more fun flying on IVAO , always plenty of pilots and ATC online.
Awesome video! Too bad AFR has never brought their A380 into SXM. That would certainly be a sight worth seeing! Was that Kiev airport in the beginning? Nice job, as always!
Your 225 landings are much smoother than mine.
0:52 I like how the front tires of the main gear also spin.
It looks almost real, great work.
Glad we agree! Thanks for watching!
gotta love flight simulator, I dont think anyone is capable of landing or taking-off an Antanov in real life at St. Maarten, it is simply way too big and heavy for such a short runway.
Michael Tapia
Maybe with no payload and 5% fuel.
Ya lol
Michael Tapia
Wow, I wasn't expecting it to be. Do you have a link to it?
Ending was shot from the wrong perspective! The ocean and beach would have been that view! Not the fence! Unless one is crouching inside the the airport.
nice skills dude. keep the nice skills.its like the best airoplane landing skills dude.i am watcing your airoplanes take off and land all the time at youtube on JON5700..keep it up dude..
Wow nice work man, keep it up!
hello friend very grateful for your delivery so great video I'm happy you're again thanks and greetings ok fine
Would definitely be the coolest sight ever!
WOAH! Just got my hands on your vids. Awesome! That is quite a landing!
One of the craziest things about the an225 and the an124 is that for as big as they are, they don't really need long runways
Snap! Got the same planes plus good landings
Keep up the great work👍i love the stuff u do
Great Job and thumb up.
Brilliant landing. !!
dude what game is that if it is
or did you use some sort of physics
Wow that was cool! Could you do that at Honduras !! or Kai Tak?
The nearest island to this one has an airport.. St barthemely or something? That is one difficult landing to master..
When a AN-225 Mriya do a takeoff, the runway is inactive 15 minutes because the 225 motors causes turbulences and whirlpools! In St. Maarten (SXM) people die when this airplane do the takeoff! Its weight is 640 t and it has 30 wheels.
Hola, muy buen video....quiero preguntarte, como logras hacer esas tomas en primer plano...
Saludos
Felipe
Chile
Can u make a DC-10 landing in st maarten
I think it's a freeware by Thomas Ruth; you can find it by typing 'Thomas Ruth An-225'(Don't download the Civi-Airliner pack version)
love your videos man! KEEP EM UP!
what pc specs are you running to get visuals like these? amazing!
This aircraft has actually landed here at SXM after a hurricane hit to deliver supplies. So its possible
How do you get such good frames with your specs Jon?
That would be cool to see in real life! It would be so close to the ground!
It would but it would likely break the runway due to its weight
THE NATIGAMER TRAVELS depends on weight of the Antonov and its cargo
Is it just me or does the cockpit windows look not too dissimilar to the 747?
Great video btw.
Oh Johnny, your Vids are soooo fantastic!
GREAT Vid is there a chance for a a380 Vid for the future.
The only problem with owning the PMDG 737NGX is that once you get used to that level of detail, going back to another aircraft, especially freeware, is a huge disappointment. Like changing mounts from Secretariat to Elsie the Cow. I suppose I've ruined myself.
Would that many wheels ever be necessary?
I don't mean too bost but have landed this an-225 here in a 40ktn crosswind and at kai tak in 50knt crosswinds. Still a good landing :)
And PS: Were did you downloaded this Antonov!!
If this can just make any of us feel even a little bit closer to St. Maarten, I'm happy.
Love the graphics!
HELLO ANWSER NOW!!!!! I live in St. Martin and I want that scenery you have put link to me please!!!! THANKS.
what game is that,look hype
There's now way The AN-225 could land at St.Maarten, but it's neat to think about it.
Try Lukla airport in Nepal with this plane or anything. C172 won't even work, or at least it should not.
Don't worry about man! Just glad you enjoy watching. Thanks so much!
