I was in middle school when the Hytale trailer dropped. Now I'm graduated and running a business. 5 years. Wow. It all felt like a dream. Like I woke up this morning and none of it ever happened. Despite my lack of free time these days, I'll still buy and play the game when I can. I've lost friends to play with over time. It happens, we move on. Losing friends is not a new concept to me. I think Hytale is going to be much bigger than we realized, and I think they know that. Switching from Java is also a huge upgrade to their engine which will allow much better modding and optimization. People also want more from actual content from Minecraft these days, but that arguably goes against Mojang's design philosophy, and especially if it's free Hytale is going to be huge with that sweet sweet riot money/marketing budget.
It has to be, because they overhyped it, if they release the boring slight upgrade over minecraft (which also got updated yearly in the meantime) it would flop instantly. I still doubt they can develop faster than that their stuff becomes outdated.

The recent trend of the Minecraft revolution is really gonna give a huge advantage to hytale and renew people interest. With Mojang being labeled as a lazy company that doesn't care about it's fanbase and the fans feeling like Minecraft is a stagnating game ,the stage is set for hytale to become a huge success. However that's only if the developers bring the variety of features that the promised and market their game as one where player's opinion does matter , their creativity and their community has value and can make an impact on the actual game . We would get new information and a blog post every month or so that really made it seem like this game was coming out soon. Then 2020 came around and the news dried up, so much so that we only got like 2 blog posts and a handful of postcards. People questioned it and grew concerned, knowing Riot was now involved. Radio silence ended 2020 and continued until July 2021 with absolutely no new information. 2 and a half years, it wasn't a short amount of time for people waiting. That was when they announced they were effectively restarting in order to have mobile... That wasn't the only reason, obviously, but to say feature creep wasn't a factor is delusional. To wait for 2 and a half years just to be told it would be ANOTHER 2-3 years at earliest was honestly heartbreaking because some of us had been so involved and so active in communities and really believed in this game. To be blindsided by the Hypixel team, who previously said that their community came first like that, honestly felt like a huge departure from everything they claimed to believe in. I was dreaming about a game made by a small community of gamers, but now I know they're just another cog in the Riot brand now. I guess it was necessary to pull back from us in order to be that 'professional' company, but I will never like it. I know we won't see this game until 2025 at least, and that'll be 6 whole years... The people who were so hyped will have largely moved on, those of us who fueled the hype and got this game noticed will not be the ones to take this game and hit the ground running. i love that you take a rather neutral approach to news not too much hype not too much cynicism. I hope when more news blog posts do come social media is not to flooded with hype it can be a double-edged sword
When hytale was announced, I was just starting high school. Now im in my exam-year and ready to start university. When the game eventually comes out I will probably be almost done with my bachelor. Despite all this I'm as hyped as ever for hytale and I don't expect that to change. It will be a blast playing when it comes out!
I’m pretty hesitant to get hytale when it finally does release. Mainly because of Riot games’ involvement as they are partially owned by tencent(a Chinese company) and if I’m not mistaken Chinese companies are required to give the CCP any data they have if the CCP asks. I’m not sure if this would mean they would collect data from Hytale users, but I’m pretty hesitant. To be clear I don’t hate Chinese people, I just don’t trust the Chinese government.
HYTALE COMING OUT 2027 GUYS! DONT LOSE HOPE! THIS WILL BE A GAME FOR GENERATIONS TO COME! OF COURSE THE ONES THAT WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY IT WILL BE YOUR GRANDCHILDREN
As a programmer myself who is also working on a voxel game (solo), I don't see how it could take them this long. Especially with such a sizeable team. I'm honestly very disappointed and am not excited at all. When the trailer released I was really hyped to play but since have lost all of it. Even if this game releases I don't think I will play it, all the hype is just gone.
thank you so much man for keeping us up to date on Hytale news bro!! really appreciate it im also a bit worried that when Hytale comes out ill be getting a job or something but, im not too worried rn
Yeah I think like other comments suggest, the game did kinda lose its hype, only the die hard fans (?) would probably be very optimistic about it. I honestly think this was a massive mistake on their behalf by announcing it early. Should do what Valve does. Literally keep everything a secret till it's for sure 100% will be released on the date they plan to release it on... Not "oh sorry we're pushing this for reasons"..
I think Hytale is the only game that people haven't raged at for waiting so long! Everyone knows it will be released some day and they know when it's done, it WILL be a BLOCKBUSTER GAME!!!!
Doubt that. They're going to take so long no one but the brainless fanboys and shills will care and it'll be dead in the water with only a small niche community of barking seals.
I first heard about Hytale in 2019 before covid. Ive been periodically checking up every 6 months or so. It really doesn't matter to me when it releases except for when it does it isn't a buggy rushed mess like a lot of games are nowadays and Hytale does not seem to be doing that which i love.
I'd really like to have a race of dwarves to be playable. Like having mining, forging/magical runeforge advantages with some nice dwarven buildings. It would add much to the game.
I'd say 2025-2026 is when it'll come out as it seems to be in the final phase of development like bug fixes, adding some final features, changing old features, making sure the game plays well, and performance enhancements.
def interested in hytale, i remember when the release trailer came out i kind of wrote it off as a 'minecraft clone' and promptly forgot about it. now that the hype is coming back, and i can see that this is more than just a clone, im actually pretty intrigued. the mythical fantasy style is very interesting, and i think would do nicely as a change from minecraft's bland and plain environment and feel.
Will Consol players be able to mod and download mods? Or will it be like Minecraft or you have to pay for it or did you have the option to make it free?

i just want them too have multiple fantasy races you can play as, like a Kweebec
They made great job at turning down the hype so people don't expect too much
anyway great too know any new news on hytale
still loyal to the cause of providing us with the information. Bless you
Seeing my own tweet be featured in a video I'm watching is a really weird feeling, LOL
it was the dodging the question about Redstone tweet. lmao
I've completely changed as a person twice over in the wait for Hytale lol
i love that you take a rather neutral approach to news not too much hype not too much cynicism. I hope when more news blog posts do come social media is not to flooded with hype it can be a double-edged sword
if I had to guess I'd say either Hytale doesn't have any equivalent to redstone, or that it would be something involving gears or magic in some way
5 years or not, im still hyped for the game, it looks better and better by each update reveal!
Even after all these year I’m still here waiting just as excited as before. Can wait for this game to come out it’s going to be awesome👍
i'm still looking forward to it! i won't hesitate a moment when the game is launched. free to play, 20 bucks, i don't care, i want to play this game.
good thing you're still posting videos as I cannot be bothered to scroll twitter to read it all although I would like to!
I signed up for the Beta a month after the first trailer released and I'm still waiting, probably have to get a new computer before then.
When hytale was announced, I was just starting high school. Now im in my exam-year and ready to start university. When the game eventually comes out I will probably be almost done with my bachelor. Despite all this I'm as hyped as ever for hytale and I don't expect that to change. It will be a blast playing when it comes out!
I've been waiting for what feels like forever for this game. I need to start exploring
Yes,that could be a problem, although why would they ask for info unless they were suspecting you of anything?
Are they this controlling?
@@monkeywrench1290 Yes, they are.
HYTALE COMING OUT 2027 GUYS! DONT LOSE HOPE!
THIS WILL BE A GAME FOR GENERATIONS TO COME!
OF COURSE THE ONES THAT WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY IT WILL BE YOUR GRANDCHILDREN
what will be the first thing you will do in hytale?
I just wanna hear the opinions of the people who wherent in the live
I think i would like to explore the vast world of Hytale with some of my pets
explore, EXPLOREEEEE
Do you know if the worlds eventually loop or will it be like minecraft, an "endless" plane?
I have been waiting since the beginning literally. I don't think most people from the beginning left. I haven't. I'm still really excited.
I’m also waiting for hl3 take your time
As a programmer myself who is also working on a voxel game (solo), I don't see how it could take them this long. Especially with such a sizeable team. I'm honestly very disappointed and am not excited at all. When the trailer released I was really hyped to play but since have lost all of it. Even if this game releases I don't think I will play it, all the hype is just gone.
thank you so much man for keeping us up to date on Hytale news bro!! really appreciate it
im also a bit worried that when Hytale comes out ill be getting a job or something but, im not too worried rn
I have been waiting since I was in High school... im in collage now i cant believe every one of us has been waiting for so long!
Was never angry and I’m not indifferent, I’m just waiting, patiently.
cannot wait for thsi game to come out still. signed up for the beta on April 6, 2019, so its been a while lol
I love these videos, even after all these years, im still super psyched about the game and i can't wait to play it. Thanks for all the updates!
It really doesn't matter to me when it releases except for when it does it isn't a buggy rushed mess like a lot of games are nowadays and Hytale does not seem to be doing that which i love.
googling games like hytale is what made me find Vintage Story. maybe it will feed the itch of others :P
Riot game's main strict rule is not to make pay 2 win
Watched the trailer and still here waiting! Haha, soon 26.
Was so hyped to play it while was still at school. And now I'm just as excited to play it while I'm still at uni lol
Lets play Estimation! I estimate we'll get a beta around early-mid 2024! :D
i dont know if im more excited about hytale or plane crazy 2
I'd really like to have a race of dwarves to be playable. Like having mining, forging/magical runeforge advantages with some nice dwarven buildings. It would add much to the game.
Man I ve been STARVING for some hytale news! Great video!
I'd say 2025-2026 is when it'll come out as it seems to be in the final phase of development like bug fixes, adding some final features, changing old features, making sure the game plays well, and performance enhancements.
It does not take 3 years to finish that stage
If you can end up taming a fox in this game It will become one of my favorites.
Remember, keep your expectations low.
Good to see that your channel is saved
def interested in hytale, i remember when the release trailer came out i kind of wrote it off as a 'minecraft clone' and promptly forgot about it. now that the hype is coming back, and i can see that this is more than just a clone, im actually pretty intrigued. the mythical fantasy style is very interesting, and i think would do nicely as a change from minecraft's bland and plain environment and feel.
Patience is a virtue, as this isn’t the same game being made with a few tweaks every year (looking at you CoD)
i cant wait to play hytale, it looks so fun and interesting
Is there any info about necromancy type of magic ? Will it be in the game ?
can't help but feel like when this game eventually comes out, my life will be consumed by it
I was thirteen when this game was announced, I’ll be 18 before it’s released
I am both excited and worried for this game.
Will Consol players be able to mod and download mods? Or will it be like Minecraft or you have to pay for it or did you have the option to make it free?
why did you credit the song "Cipher" in the description and not the one you used (Firecracker by LEMMiNO)????? it doesnt even sound similar to cipher
Yo I'm in the vid at: 00:33
