    Thanks Jeff! I really enjoyed seeing the review and look forward to more first looks and reviews of the Savage Worlds content. One thing I’ve noticed with groups I’ve run, some players will horde their bennies until we start getting close to the end of the game night. I try to discourage it by making sure they understand that they can earn more through good gameplay, creativity and just getting everyone laughing. First time players in particular, especially those coming from other systems, don’t understand that. Once they’ve played a bit and see they don’t need to horde the bennies they tend to be spent more freely.

      Keep them Bennies flowing, Madman!
      Great and important point.
      I think Bennie hoarding happens because of those Gygaxian games where attrition is the important limitation. SW definitely requires some system-habit re-education for both GMs and players and, once embraced, kinda makes the game far less uptight and multiplies the fun!

    I got this to Savage RIFTS but I'm just as interested to play around with this toolbox of a game, so cool.

    I used to play Deadlands back in the 90s. I may have already said this on a previous Savage Worlds video... Anyway, back then, I thought the game had a somewhat steep learning curve, but once folks were onboard, it was a marvelous, fast-paced system. I know some elements have been smoothed out with Savage Worlds, but it seems very similar. Not a system I'd want to use for everything, but for high action, pulp adventure types stuff (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, swashbuckling, some Jason Bourne wackiness, etc.), I think it would be great.

    I’ve subscribed to this channel because the quality of the reviews is fair, honest, very informative and entertaining. Keep it up!

    Just a small correction. All modifiers to trait rolls also affect the wild die.

    Fantastic review.
    17 on a d20 is a pretty great result as far as I can see. Not too shabby!
    Love Savage Worlds - brilliant "Gamer's" game. Very hackable and adaptable.
    Looking forward to you getting that shrink-wrap off Holler, too. 😁👍

    Specifically, SW came out of the Great Rail Wars a Dreadlands mass miniatures skirmish game.

    I am totally unfamiliar to this book. Is it compatible with the old stuff or is it all new content to this one?;

      It's a cleaner presentation and there are some changes to the game but, for the most part, you can easily convert older Savage Worlds releases to SWADE. ~ Jeff
