I play huntress cuz I think she's badass. She's probably my favorite killer design wise. Every quirk she has makes her feel more cool and awesome. Plus she has my favorite lunge by far. It's probably the worst lunge technically, but man is it cool to hear
Just started playing this Halloween 2019. Love the huntress. Her and Billy boy are my favorites. Learned a lot, thanks. My thought on her hum radius is to take it slow of you dont see someone. Keep looking around as you move. Pay attention to the whole screen and watch for little movements to find hidden survivors who panic when they hear you.
I play on laptop. Anytime I get something from steam my game freezes from lag and that's with low settings and nothing running in the background. My laptop can handle wow, tf2 with medium settings, etc but can't handle this buggy ass game

For completion sake , you could also include a few things about her addons. Aside from instadown/belt combo and the even stronger instahatchet combo, she does have some pretty useful addons; for example, using the exhaustion debuff one will remove the possibility of any deadhard or surprise sprint burst plays midchase so you don't have to plan around those. Great guide though, thumbs up! Edit: It's recommended that you learn to play the huntress without addons, and as you master her you'll very often see no use for them as it removes a big part of the challenge and satisfaction of playing her.
Wanna know the one good thing about PS4, when I first watched this vid a couple months back I Set out to be the one of the few huntress mains on ps4 and here I am now as a p3 huntress with a fair amount of knowledge about huntress and laughing when someone calls me trash cuz I 3k’d (yes I get it, you survivors are really good at holding a button down all game). the best thing tho is the nice comments, since 90% of rank 1s are billies cuz nurse is stupid being a good huntress definitely stands out from the typical chainsaw, hook, bbq, repeat. Played my first three games as killer today and went 2-1 as the Huntress, with the one loss being in one of the maps you said is super hard for her lol. You weren't lying, I couldn't contain the survivors at all in that huge space.
This helped me with huntress SO MUCH I wanted to only P3 LVL50 3 killers so I decided nurse, billy, and I was stuck but I ended up going with huntress and when he said she’s probably the 3rd best killer I knew I had to get good with her listen to these they help like no other

Watching the old longer pickup animation in slow motion was perhaps the most painful thing I've ever experienced, it took about nine hours also good guide thank you i will now go land a throw
One thing you missed specifically about the hum. Headphone users can tell what direction she is in specifically since the hum comes from the huntress herself and not just the heartbeat that sounds off in both ears.
I might be wrong about this but, say if I were to use some software or program in order to place a crosshair in the middle of my screen. Nothing else. Is that bannable, or should I just use the tape method instead?

When i was really bad at huntress Save the Best for Last REALLY helped because pre 2.2.0? (idk somewhere around there) they way i played it was, if i couldn't get a hatchet by the time SBL started working i would just go for the reduced cool down melee It might still be useful but now that i works on charges instead of a timer idk

The only thing that comes close to the satisfaction of a nice hatchet is catching that really good survivor in a trap they didn't know about as trapper
The humming radius being huge can actually be goood if you extend that range to a lot further with a perk they will always think you are close discouraging them from working in a generator or something and running istead could be useful
Pretty helpful guide for the Huntress, who is one of my favorite killers and I can't quite put into words why. Aside from that, what is your favorite costume to use for her? The Mama Bear costume looks really cool, but then they added the Reindeer and Hawk costumes and they look really cool too, she might have my some of my favorite killer cosmetics actually. Currently saving my shards for the one good looking costume I can buy with them, the ram skull one, which also looks pretty good thankfully, but which one do you like?
Does huntress's humming get louder when she gets closer? the heartbeat gets faster to indicate closeness but i'm wondering if you can basically treat huntress's hum like a heartbeat. I guess what i'm really asking is her humming a better or worse marker for where she is compared to the terror radius?
I don’t know how to reply to this. The answer is kind of obvious. Yes you can use the lullaby to track her, and use the heartbeat to know if she’s closer than 20 meters. She has two different ways of telling you she’s coming which is quite a bit of warning.

My first couple of games of playing huntress were like horrible, I can't aim properly,so I always got butt dances. When ever I got one down,I can always expect two or three flash light lurking around me. I play terrible on killers,not just huntress, still practicing my aim. I am not sure of using any add ons in the beginning is really good or not. I don't want to rely on the add ons too much, but not sure if its a good a good idea to not use them when I am still a baby huntress.

I know this is a bit noob like to ask but what is a skill cap? How is it high with the huntress. I just started playing killer not too long ago and I would like to know the ins and outs. Also this video has helped me understand a bit more with the huntress
KANE a skill cap is how hard a character is to play. The huntress for example has a relatively high skill cap, because you have to put quite a few games into her to be effective. The hardest killer, nurse would have a very high skill cap, as you can really tell the difference between an average and good nurse player. A low skill cap killer such as leatherface means that he is easy to pick up and play, and it is harder to distinguish the better ones from the bad ones, as he doesn’t have many skill expressive mechanics. Edit: it means she is hard to play and master.

I'd suggest getting a desktop overlay instead of using a piece of tape for huntress. It doesn't actually change the game files at all, so you can't get banned for it.

Yes the humming is proximity base. You can hear when she’s closer and from what direction it’s coming from.

what sort of software are you using to get the reticle
I know this is a bit noob like to ask but what is a skill cap? How is it high with the huntress. I just started playing killer not too long ago and I would like to know the ins and outs. Also this video has helped me understand a bit more with the huntress
KANE a skill cap is how hard a character is to play. The huntress for example has a relatively high skill cap, because you have to put quite a few games into her to be effective. The hardest killer, nurse would have a very high skill cap, as you can really tell the difference between an average and good nurse player. A low skill cap killer such as leatherface means that he is easy to pick up and play, and it is harder to distinguish the better ones from the bad ones, as he doesn’t have many skill expressive mechanics.
Edit: it means she is hard to play and master.

Edit: I use barbecue, nurses calling, ruin, and stridor for my huntress. Im killer rank 7
I use bbq nurses bitter murmur and iron maiden

I'd suggest getting a desktop overlay instead of using a piece of tape for huntress. It doesn't actually change the game files at all, so you can't get banned for it.
