These UGR are insane. Using only street slick tires, not much changes in the interior, and no parachute. It can keep up with almost interior gutted and on full drag racing tires set GT-Rs. The only thing that made the GT-R won is because still, GT-Rs tranmission is a masterpiece, still remains seamless even at that high hp numbers.

The T1 GTR Power couple is probably my favorite couple rn. Also that was a very big jump on the start from that red UGR Huracan, it is fast, yes, but Christine could have won if not for the jump at the start. Just my opinion tho

Because the GT-R has a balance power and on full drag racing tires, the transmission can still handle it well that's why it shifts smoothly. While the Huracan with 3000hp on street tires struggles for traction and in shifting but once it's fast enough, it pulls.

Especially at the top end at above 200 miles per hour! The horsepower it takes to go faster at that speed raises exponentially greater at each mile per hour.

Why is the gtr so popular amongst tuners. I know they're extremely quick out of the box, but I'm curious what do they have over other cars considering that they're are so many running crazy times like in video?
Its the Tech behind them out the box for the money. The Gen 5 Vipers are coming right behind them. The Supras still hold their own even though they've been around for 25 + years.

Had the cars been more evenly lined up at start, the result would've definitely been different. UGR has to definitely rethink power application for tx2k21.

Erik Britz I hear you. But to think the gtr is running 68mm turbos and making about 2000whp; the red UGR huracan is running perhaps 80+mm turbos and making in excess of 3000whp. It is clear that the GTR’s power train is dominant at this platform of racing. Maybe the yellow huracan with the slicks May prove me wrong...fingers crossed.
@@kwalters8561 No as you heard Tony say in the vid the cars not only at 2k hp Here the car came with some added power since GTR world cup and the car has a Nos shot to boot also man TRC started spreading this BS of 3500 wheel horses in 2018 when the UGR cars run 2600-2700whp look there is engine ratings and there is wheel ratings the wheel ones is what the car can use when racing the engine is what the engine makes but some of that power gets lost through the drivetrain and thsi differs from each type example RWD=10% to 15% Drivetrain loss and AWD equals 25% so if you do the math then 3500hp engine minus 25% which is 875 hp lost means the car has 2625 wheel horsepower or 2700whp probably now reason also for this is cause the stock engine of the Huracan has 600hp the turbo's added provide 1350hp each maxed out add that up and bam 3300hp so you get what i mean TRC is just trying to get views lol the GTRS tho are up to running 86mm turbos also man the new turbos these days make more power from smaller sizes meaning GTRS will be more powerful with smaller turbo's same with other cars its quite awesome.

I don't know the name of the person Racing the black drag GTR with a big wing, but he should get in touch with Andy FORREST about that GPS based traction control. Because he has done it with his time attack WRX a long time ago, and that thing ran 7.7 in the 1/4 mile. The traction control strategy they use in time attack is just stupidly efficient.
There just isn't NO cooler, nicer racers out there than George and Cristine. And not very many as fast or quick. So humble, very good ambassadors of the sport. Some could take lessons in PR from them. Edit; yeah I know the first few words english skills are a no go - BUT you get the idea :)

These are cool cars but why do they go from the roll? That's separates it from "drag racing". Still impressive but with a huge advantage over true drag racing.

lambos run a DCT transmission as well, what are you talking about lol.

TRC videos are amazing as fuck. The cinematography is wayyyy better than a lot of the other channels.

Why is the gtr so popular amongst tuners. I know they're extremely quick out of the box, but I'm curious what do they have over other cars considering that they're are so many running crazy times like in video?
Its the Tech behind them out the box for the money. The Gen 5 Vipers are coming right behind them. The Supras still hold their own even though they've been around for 25 + years.

He was there but in his Lambo, GTRS getting upgrades also he did a roll race shakedown pass last year and i believe ran 211mph/219mph pass, fastest GTR at TX2K rolls was Alpha Queen car ran 228.77mph with a rolling ET of 8.54sec this same GTR did a 6.87sec@216mph 1/4 mile the red UGR lambo's best run was 7.89sec@236.05mph and 8.22sec@236.36mph

Congratulations to tony and the guys at T1 racing for building some crazy GTRs. That red GTR was down by about 1000whp on that ugr red huracan and look at how close that final was. Had the cars been more evenly lined up at start, the result would've definitely been different.
UGR has to definitely rethink power application for tx2k21.

If you look closely UGR sets off with two/one and a half car lead and christine doesn't roll up in time BUT if you pause the camera right there at 19:51sec you will notice the Red cars only a cars length ahead, remember the eye of these cameras are different making aspects look funny, so that's when christine nails it too and she stated in the 1320Video TX2K vid she nailed the scramble button(a temp shot of Nos to pull or reel in an opponent) at that moment and that's when she almost passed, Nos emptied and at the top end of the run the UGR car shot past by a car or two, 19:56sec meaning had the run been side by side the UGR car would have won by half a car or a full cars length even with a both cars side by side at the start, mind you the UGR cars Turbo was broken in that Final run so that's another thing to consider.
Erik Britz I hear you. But to think the gtr is running 68mm turbos and making about 2000whp; the red UGR huracan is running perhaps 80+mm turbos and making in excess of 3000whp. It is clear that the GTR’s power train is dominant at this platform of racing. Maybe the yellow huracan with the slicks May prove me wrong...fingers crossed.
@@kwalters8561 No as you heard Tony say in the vid the cars not only at 2k hp Here the car came with some added power since GTR world cup and the car has a Nos shot to boot also man TRC started spreading this BS of 3500 wheel horses in 2018 when the UGR cars run 2600-2700whp look there is engine ratings and there is wheel ratings the wheel ones is what the car can use when racing the engine is what the engine makes but some of that power gets lost through the drivetrain and thsi differs from each type example RWD=10% to 15% Drivetrain loss and AWD equals 25% so if you do the math then 3500hp engine minus 25% which is 875 hp lost means the car has 2625 wheel horsepower or 2700whp probably now reason also for this is cause the stock engine of the Huracan has 600hp the turbo's added provide 1350hp each maxed out add that up and bam 3300hp so you get what i mean TRC is just trying to get views lol the GTRS tho are up to running 86mm turbos also man the new turbos these days make more power from smaller sizes meaning GTRS will be more powerful with smaller turbo's same with other cars its quite awesome.

I don't know the name of the person Racing the black drag GTR with a big wing, but he should get in touch with Andy FORREST about that GPS based traction control. Because he has done it with his time attack WRX a long time ago, and that thing ran 7.7 in the 1/4 mile.
The traction control strategy they use in time attack is just stupidly efficient.

These are cool cars but why do they go from the roll? That's separates it from "drag racing". Still impressive but with a huge advantage over true drag racing.
Been knowing Tony sense 2015 TI King of the streets. Super good guy! Happy T1is doing well. Super competitive & a real die hard racer.
A few things to Note Regarding the Roll Racing this year and the Finals.
1.)in 2018 the rules were changed to cars can be within a cars length of each other in starting box.
2.)Faster speed sets the pace i believe they implemented this rule in 2019 this is why UGR started off and set the pace also they choose lane choice as well.
3.)If you guys look closely UGR sets off with two/one and a half car lead and christine doesn't roll up in time BUT if you pause the camera right there 19:51sec you will notice the Red cars only a cars length ahead, remember the eye of these cameras are different making aspects look funny, so that's when christine nails it too and she stated in the 1320Video TX2K vid she nailed the scramble button(temp shot of Nos to pull or reel in an opponent) at that moment and that's when she almost passed BUT at the top end of the run the UGR car shot past by a car or two, 19:56sec meaning had the run been side by side the UGR car would have won by half a car or a full cars length even with a both cars equaled out also if the UGR car was healthy we can assume the gap would be a tiny bit bigger nonetheless the Christines car is insane.
4.)Christine won against a Few UGR cars that is good and well but these were novices running the UGR cars, like no offense to Coy Junior or Grant in the R8 But it's true, coy ran a car like this for his first time ever and same with Grant, the R8 ran 222mph earlier in qualifying but the Novice driver crashed into the resistor beds so they turned it down hence him running 215mph vs 222mph & 225mph in 2019 for Christine nonetheless she deserved to be in the final it's just she had the major driver mod here lol so she won via experience and a killer performing car either way.
so in my opinion people need to really take this into perspective and understand a few things about what happened and not spew nonsense like UGR is cheats and all this crap. congrats to the Dodworth couple on having a great weekend nonetheless and congratz to UGR winning for a 4th time in a row, were looking forward to seeing them run next year too.

What’s the benefit to chopping the gtr rear bumper ?
It's not cut, the factory rear valance is removed (can be put back), taking it off and the components attached saves almost 40lbs.

Ya funny, they supposedly had a huge start against the Audi, some said almost 3 cars and nobody says anything (strangely no good footage either), they are back 3/4 to a car on the red Lambo and everyone wants to cry foul, yet if the Lambo won from behind behind they would claim a slingshot.
