Rockhounding Washington State

This time on UncleNudgeRocks... It was an ice-cold day but that didn't stop things from heating up!!! Some cool geology along the way, and nice Jasper amongst other finds... I probably won't name the creek/river I'm at during a video, so please refrain from asking!! Hear me out... My favorite area took many explorations in the mountains to find, thus, I have to hesitate to share the physical location with hundreds or thousands of people!!... I also don't want to step on any toes of others favorite spots (and if I have, I apologize), so there you go... I'll be vague at best from now on. I do love to share these fantastic places through my videos!!! So, here's how to find great locations...
I would suggest coming to visit and join Marysville Rock & Gem Club (only $10 per year), attend meetings every second Tuesday night at 7pm (except July) and become part of the family!! There are rockhounding experts and casual rockhounds too. Jade experts can teach you how and where to find Jade on some of the 2-3 dozen field trips each year. That's how I learned!!! After I get to know you, there's a chance to get an invite by me, to my favorite spot. Believe you will find after just one meeting you'll wonder why you didn't join waaaaay sooner!!!

There's a ton of great areas up there, for sure!!! I remember back in the late 1970's when I could drive right into Monte Cristo, it was a thriving tourist spot!!! Probably have spent more time in mtns. there than anywhere!!!

@UncleNudgeRocks it is a beautiful area. I remember riding my Harley through the mountain loop rd couple years ago, I was thinking I need get up here to do some hounding lol
