Ive been using the ziip around my lips prior to seeing this & I thought I was imaging that my lips were looking fuller, Im so pleased with the results. I had skin cancer & Moh's surgery on my upper lip removing the growth & for years one side of my lip looked deflated & scared, but now it looks so much better!! TFS Im not crazy after all. Lol 🤗
Well that was exciting surprise, I’m usually doing my microcurrent at 6am, so unless someone told me I probably wouldn’t have noticed the update… because 6am😂😂😂 Never knew I could use my halo with the older treatments too!!!!

This is so great! I do have one request if Melanie is listening… I loved how the GX used to store the last treatment used. My new HALO reverts back to Lift after every treatment and I have to re-sync the treatment to repeat a 2nd time. I especially love doing the Founder’s Favorite multiple times and re-syncing is inconvenient. Thank you Penn for bringing these great interviews and insider tips. ❤

Hi Penn, question regarding this treatment: if it plumps the lips and marionette lines, aren't we also at risk of plumping the philtrum (the skin between the upper lip and the nose)? Obviously an elongated, plumped philtrum is not a desired outcome for most people, so I am wondering what your/Melanie's thoughts might be on this as a potential side-effect of this treatment. It’s temporary- basically the day you do it. That said, it’s only 2 minutes and the increased circulation is really good for the tissue so long term it’s just good for the lips 👄 🩷

Penny what do think about buying an extra Halo? Would it be bad for it to sit? The one I have doesn't turn orange until it quits on me and then I can't finish so gel is wasted. I guess it couldn't hurt to have an extra charged Ziip waiting for you in the cupboard lol. Also yes, sometimes I leave the Ziip gel on after a treatment, they did such good job on the ingredients!
PS though, I don’t have an extra myself- I have my GX (original) and I have the Halo. When I leave the gel on I do pat off excess. If I do a treatment at night the gel is a perfect buffer for retinoids in my opinion 🩷

Hello, i just turned 52 I had a few questions. I have the NuFACE and I stopped using it. Because they said you can’t use it if you have had Botox which I do in my forehead, upper lip and massider. Hence not being able to use the NuFACE one. Can I buy the Ziip Halo and use that over my face that has had Botox. I hope this makes sense if you know, you know! I want to start using a device again but I don’t want to waste money on a device that I can’t use. Thank you so much for all your amazing content!!❤
Hi there. I’m not sure why anyone would tell you you can’t use nuface if you’ve had Botox? Now, I say don’t use any form of microcurrent for 2 week after Botox injections but after that it’s all good. That’s what I do anyway! But if you want to follow those rules they would be the same for ziip as nuface ❤️

Hi ladies! I got my ZIIP halo, but haven’t used it yet. Do we need to use your app to get these results? Are they just different ways to use the ZIIP, or is the ZIIP activated differently? Sorry, I’m not a computer person! lol You both look awesome and thank you! It’s funny how these devices can be used. I was playing around with my myolift and used it on my earlobes and ears, and it actually made my ears smaller! My earlobe piercing disappeared! lol Of course it didn’t last
So you do need to use the app for THIS only because you select this specific program (there are many) and its syncs up to your device and then you do your treatment. You can use the device without the app but it’s always set to a program called “the lift” unless you select another program (like the lips program). Every time you use your device you select the program you want OR just use it with the lift program that it defaults to. I hope that makes sense? 🩷🩷
So I understand, the Lip Plumping ZIIP is the same as the Halo GX but with the Lip Plumping feature? You can use the Lip ZIIP for other parts of your face?
The lips program is now on the GX part of the APP too and yes you can use it in different places but not all over- too much plumping. Hollow places are perfect!
I've had my ziip for about 8 months and am loving it. Just wondering if anyone else's ziip is coming apart at the seem on top?? It's got dark discoloration as well where it's coming apart. I sent an email with pics to address it as I don't want it to affect my treatments.
I wrote the company and sent pics, they rushed me out a new ziip and I sent my old one back. It had been 8 months. Very pleased with customer service!!!

Yes! Use the plump app on the GX side (that’s what I did in this video). Using them back to back (halo first the the GX) I can tell you the plump program feels just like the lips program 😁
I'm confused, too, because on my app I can select Halo and see all the Halo programs. If I choose one, such as Lips or Electric Tone, it appears to sync to my GX and work just like any of the GX programs.
Hello Penn, I enjoy your vast knowledge on skincare, and beauty devices. I'm seriously wanting to buy the Ziip halo!! However, this gives pause..... I noticed negative reviews on Amazon Prime re quality of the device. Many complaints re device arriving without silver probs attached, falling off during treatment. One claimed she was burned and left with red marks. And the Company's customer service was poor and unreceptive. If Melanie owns the company I can't imagine this to be true. I definitely want to try this device as it truly seems promising! Thank you for introducing the device for lips.💋
They did have a bad batch of devices last year. It was really unfortunate! On top of that…..the customer service is TWO people. Melanie’s aunt Mary and another person. It’s a small business so when this happened (the bad batch) it really challenged their small team and set them back in response times etc. I believe they’ve completely rectified the situation and corrected whatever caused the bad batch (which was a decent number of devices). Anyway, since they started in 2015 this is the first time I’ve seen poor reviews on either the product or their customer service. In fact, they had remarkably little in the way of complaints. All that said….you have to go with your gut 😊 I am not aware of burning btw (microcurrent doesn’t use heat) but I did hear about the probes etc.
I have this device during parts of the process Melanie will say "you will feel a flutter" or something like that. I never feel anything at all. Is that normal?
But what happens to lips over time from being swollen...deflating...swollen...deflating...is it the same as losing weight...gaining...losing weight...gaining...not good for skin to do that. So is this harmful over time to the lips?

hi penny, i really enjoy your videos. you clearly had a good experience with ziip, but I would caution anyone who buys this device that the customer service is not great. I have been a ZIIP user since its inception. My device stopped working after a time and the co allowed me to get another one with a discount without telling me that new technology was coming out less than a month later. As time goes on, the original becomes increasingly obsolete. So I bought old merchandise. She clearly gears all her efforts towards the new technology and after complaints, came out with an equivalent program for the old one...in this case, the lips.
For me just the day I do this treatment. It’s temporary (although I think the effects of increased circulation are likely cumulative and good for us) 🩷

As soon as you talked about vasodiolating that's exactly what i thought of since that's the theory of mechanism of how minoxidil grows hair. it would be way cheaper (esp if you have a propylene glycol allergy like many including myself do) to have a microcurrent solution to do this instead of buying expensive sets of foam minoxidil which don't last as long for women since we use it for so much more scalp coverage than men do normally.
I had a root canal and post placed in my tooth to save and hold the tooth in place years ago. I don't believe it is metal but if it is, should I be using this product? I have the Zip.

If you did it on the same day I’d do ziip first then rinse and cosmetic needle. This way the good stuff you needled in gets to stay 😍

Hello, i just turned 52 I had a few questions. I have the NuFACE and I stopped using it. Because they said you can’t use it if you have had Botox which I do in my forehead, upper lip and massider. Hence not being able to use the NuFACE one. Can I buy the Ziip Halo and use that over my face that has had Botox. I hope this makes sense if you know, you know! I want to start using a device again but I don’t want to waste money on a device that I can’t use. Thank you so much for all your amazing content!!❤

Now, I say don’t use any form of microcurrent for 2 week after Botox injections but after that it’s all good.
That’s what I do anyway!
But if you want to follow those rules they would be the same for ziip as nuface ❤️

I got my ZIIP halo, but haven’t used it yet. Do we need to use your app to get these results? Are they just different ways to use the ZIIP, or is the ZIIP activated differently? Sorry, I’m not a computer person! lol You both look awesome and thank you!
It’s funny how these devices can be used. I was playing around with my myolift and used it on my earlobes and ears, and it actually made my ears smaller! My earlobe piercing disappeared! lol Of course it didn’t last
So you do need to use the app for THIS only because you select this specific program (there are many) and its syncs up to your device and then you do your treatment.
You can use the device without the app but it’s always set to a program called “the lift” unless you select another program (like the lips program). Every time you use your device you select the program you want OR just use it with the lift program that it defaults to.

My GX does not do anything for my lips.. And I use the plump Treatment a lot on them.
So I understand, the Lip Plumping ZIIP is the same as the Halo GX but with the Lip Plumping feature? You can use the Lip ZIIP for other parts of your face?
The lips program is now on the
GX part of the APP too and yes you can use it in different places but not all over- too much plumping. Hollow places are perfect!

I've had my ziip for about 8 months and am loving it. Just wondering if anyone else's ziip is coming apart at the seem on top?? It's got dark discoloration as well where it's coming apart. I sent an email with pics to address it as I don't want it to affect my treatments.
I wrote the company and sent pics, they rushed me out a new ziip and I sent my old one back. It had been 8 months. Very pleased with customer service!!!
Thank you, still confused. On my App, I can opt for Halo which I don’t have-but halo lips will not work and I should keep the app on gx (my device ) and use plump? Can the GX app and routines be updated by ZIIP? I have used plump on my temples with great success to plump them up a bit.
Yes! Use the plump app on the GX side (that’s what I did in this video). Using them back to back (halo first the the GX) I can tell you the plump program feels just like the lips program 😁
I'm confused, too, because on my app I can select Halo and see all the Halo programs. If I choose one, such as Lips or Electric Tone, it appears to sync to my GX and work just like any of the GX programs.
How long did your lips stay plumped for?
I would say through the afternoon, in to the evening. It’s not more than one day 😊

Hello Penn, I enjoy your vast knowledge on skincare, and beauty devices. I'm seriously wanting to buy the Ziip halo!! However, this gives pause..... I noticed negative reviews on Amazon Prime re quality of the device. Many complaints re device arriving without silver probs attached, falling off during treatment. One claimed she was burned and left with red marks. And the Company's customer service was poor and unreceptive. If Melanie owns the company I can't imagine this to be true. I definitely want to try this device as it truly seems promising!

They did have a bad batch of devices last year. It was really unfortunate!
On top of that…..the customer service is TWO people. Melanie’s aunt Mary and another person. It’s a small business so when this happened (the bad batch) it really challenged their small team and set them back in response times etc.
I believe they’ve completely rectified the situation and corrected whatever caused the bad batch (which was a decent number of devices).
Anyway, since they started in 2015 this is the first time I’ve seen poor reviews on either the product or their customer service. In fact, they had remarkably little in the way of complaints.
All that said….you have to go with your gut 😊
I am not aware of burning btw (microcurrent doesn’t use heat) but I did hear about the probes etc.

But what happens to lips over time from being swollen...deflating...swollen...deflating...is it the same as losing weight...gaining...losing weight...gaining...not good for skin to do that. So is this harmful over time to the lips?
I didn’t find that my lips swelled- that’s why I was excited to see the circulation because that’s really good for skin. 😊

hi penny, i really enjoy your videos. you clearly had a good experience with ziip, but I would caution anyone who buys this device that the customer service is not great. I have been a ZIIP user since its inception. My device stopped working after a time and the co allowed me to get another one with a discount without telling me that new technology was coming out less than a month later. As time goes on, the original becomes increasingly obsolete. So I bought old merchandise.
She clearly gears all her efforts towards the new technology and after complaints, came out with an equivalent program for the old one...in this case, the lips.
That’s terrible, I’m sorry you’ve experienced that. I wouldn’t want to have bought the older version right before a new one launched either 😔

As soon as you talked about vasodiolating that's exactly what i thought of since that's the theory of mechanism of how minoxidil grows hair. it would be way cheaper (esp if you have a propylene glycol allergy like many including myself do) to have a microcurrent solution to do this instead of buying expensive sets of foam minoxidil which don't last as long for women since we use it for so much more scalp coverage than men do normally.
I had a root canal and post placed in my tooth to save and hold the tooth in place years ago. I don't believe it is metal but if it is, should I be using this product? I have the Zip.
