    Could you do one of you diagrams/ charts for the am/pm skincare routine? Like the order and the type of things to use? You have such great recommendations but I am loosing track. A chart with the types, when, order, etc would be great.

      Best idea as even with the needles iv started at the lowest and increased each month .
      First session I did 0.25 , 0.5 max in my concern areas . I wish I’d started nano . I did 0.75 - 1 today no numbing .

    I can't even believe how good your skin is for your age (aren't you late 40s/early 50s?). I remember you saying your age in a video but I can't remember. Your skin looks INCREDIBLE.
    I can't seem to ever fix my nose. I've tried everything :( I've been on retinol for a year and a half. Tretinoin for 8+ months now. NIacinamide every single night. Antioxidants, vitamin C, derma rolling, acid cleansers, facial oils. I do it all. The pores/blackheads on my nose always remain. Otherwise my skin does look incredible and I've seen a HUGE benefit... especially from Tret/retinoids + niacinamide.

    I think I will use the nano needle on my lips and directly under my eyes, and cosmetically needle the rest of my face and neck. I like the mask with the silicone mask on top, I am 61, and have never tried that type of mask. It does seem to lock in more moisture. Thank you!

    Thanks for the video. The Dr. Pen website recommends a depth setting of .25mm but you’re using it at 2mm. I have tried nano needling at .25 and haven’t noticed much of anything. I’ll be sure to give the 2mm depth a go!

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The problem is at .25 the nano tip (the chip) doesn’t extend past the cartridge so it can’t touch the skin 🤷‍♀️

    I love the silicon masks, it has done miracles with my desert dehidrated dry skin. I use it over a layer of hydrating masks and then off I go to the shower. I use it as well over a layer of hada labo, and it work wonders. I love the hada labo, but mine has paraben, I must look for your option to get the one without it.

    When can I use nanoneedling between the healing circle of microneedling for skincare penetration? Maybe a week after the microneedling session? And why nanoneedling is better for skincare penetration than a 36 cartige in 0.25mm that supposedly does the same thing? 🤔❤️ 8:05

    I’m interested in the Dr Pen, M8 or A6 Professional. Which is better? Also does it tell you when to change your cartridge? I’m starting my anti aging journey. My first step, I switched a lot of my skincare products to K Beauty. I have several toners, essences and serums for dry skin and anti-aging. I at least have my core products. Next I’d like to incorporate needling for anti aging and to get that overall glow! 💜💚💜

    Did you ever try to use homemade cosmetics with microneedling? For example, a diy hialuronic acid is miraculous on the skin for/after microneedling. I also combined HA with kojic, peptide. It's a huge difference comparing to ready-made cosmetics.

    Does anyone notice she recommended a square cartridge but when you click on the Amazon link it’s round. Is there a difference?

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They likely sold out of the original cartridge (the video is a couple years old so I try to keep the links at least helpful even if the original is no longer available).
      For nano round or square is inconsequential, just always look for silicone or stainless steel. Stainless steal is most common and silicone is for very sensitive skin. ❤️

    Thanks for sharing the tips. I have one qn- can we use stamping for the whole face? Because stamping means we don’t drag the needles across the face in sweeping motions.
    I have deep scars on my cheek from cystic acne and further scars from DIY-gone-wrong to fix ice-pick scars home-use TCA- I use cotton bud instead of toothpick & cause even bigger holes on skin and uneven skin tone.
    I just did my first session today. I feel that stamping can target the the scar area better.

    Hi Penny thank you for this so informative tutorial it really gets the nano needling on the point. I have an M8 dr pen and I saw I can get nano, 3D nano and 5D nano cartridges but I can’t get any info about difference and use of those cartridges. Do you know something more??

      I need to know to and it’s so irritating that she only responds to people giving compliments and thanking her for the video not actual product questions 🙃🥲

    When do you use chlorhexidine or alcohol wipes to avoid infections? The potential for infections here is high.

      Actually nano “needling” doesn’t actually break the skin so the chance of infection is unlikely.

      @@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Thank you. On your recommendations, I am now ordering products from Amazon USA, since we seem to have fake ones in the UK.

      If you're breaking out, eliminate most of the use of your products and go to unscented oil cleanser, facial cleanser and moisturizer.

    I've been hoping for a nano needling protocol, thanks! I wasn't sure what the goal would be, what products, etc, so never ordered the cartridges. Seriously considering this now. I hope you do a Myolift QT review/tutorial soon. Also, you look gorgeous, like it's summer where you are (obviously is not, saw on the news the Pacific NW was hard hit by winter).

      Yes we are in an ice storm! Literally stuck lol
      But I got blonde put in my hair by a professional (I’ve done my own for several years and although I’m a licensed hair stylist it’s never as good as going and getting it done).
      Also, I was in my workout clothes in this video lol....they look like a summer shirt but they’re not 😂
      And thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️

    Great video!! I wanted to ask a question... if I do medical MN every 4-6wks, but also want to do cosmetic MN and nano in between (weekly), how long after the medical MN session, can I do either cosmetic/nano again?? I hope the question is clear.
    Thank you for all the great videos, protocols and information, I have learned sooo much watching you. I find your way of explaining things very easy to understand and implement. I really enjoy all your posts and videos ❤️
