@@AlexBradbury-jm5rq if you want to play on console yeah (console has Xbox PlayStation cross play) but u can get a pc if you want (doesn’t have console crossplay yet it’s just pc players). but I’d just go with the one that your friends are on

This'll be actually good for me as pretty much everyone I know only has Siege on PC, and I'm on Console. I expect to be dying quite a bit, but at least I'll be hanging out with friends.
map/gameplay knowledge outplays aim 8/10. I play PC and have a friend who refuses to use a mouse, he typically never bottom frags and does fine!

2 important questions. Will Console get mnk support if you are in pc lobbies (all my friends are on pc, but I like the idea of spending 1/4 the price of there PCs and being able to play with them on mnk at 120hz)
And 2: if not, would you be punished for using a xim in pc lobbies/

They need to add to where you can plus a keyboard and mouse into these new gen consoles for siege. You can do it for many games. If they make that a thing and make it to where if u do use it you only play against others with mnk and PC
I hope i can plug my native Mnk and play againsts pc instead of a xim requirement to be able to play against pc players.

@@Dr.du-du majority of chanps in seige are carried in both platforms but the game is much harder on console bcs of the controls and gun play pc has easy controls amd most of the enemy team are bots or hackers

From some streamer i cant remember who but i swear they said it was if a console player is using mouse and keyboard then the system will matchmake them with pc players and not controller users on console, i hope they do not add the pc to console crossplay as it would damage the games reputation on console in my opinion, the rift between console and pc gamers is pretty bad apart from pwople who have friends on either platform, now when it comes to call of duty didnt someone prove that pc gamers have a massive advantage over console users ? If so i think this would damage the games reputation on console or ubisofts reputation when it comes to trying to combat cheaters on consoles. An extra note if i am wrong sure correct me but i would like to say again this is my opinion
If your caught using a Xim you go to pc lobby’s if you want to play pc and your not using a Xim join a pc friend there is no way for a pc player to join a console lobby

I think it should work it like if you plug it in you will vs mouse and keyboard users on console and pc players but no controllor players unless there in a squad with mouse and keyboard players or pc players

I just hope this is only for quick play or arcade. It's fine for pc players and console players to play together but I don't think it's good for ranked 😂
If they consent to it then why not. It’s only gonna affect the ones that are consenting to it. If I understand it correctly, the console players will have to join their buddies on PC to get into PC games.

so… they try to nail down on the mnk on console but… they want to put cross play with pc and console?????? someone make it make sense. the difference in a joystick, and a whole ass mouse is, well DIFFERENT. can’t wait to get into the clownish lobby where my tm8’s are vegetable and the whole other teams filled with SAS special ops operation forces. i already know how this all goes
no if you are detected with mnk on console you automatically get sent to pc servers
and you choose if you want to be on pc/console servers it is an optional thing
You are choosing to play against pc players plus this feature will only really be used for 1v1s
then dont play with pc players simple.

Mehhh itll be like the games 10th year. Theres not a big enough community to split lobbies even more. In high ranks you already play with/against the same people 5 games out of 10. Take even more people from the console pool and add another year... it doesnt get better. Plus its just completely unfair lmao so now console players just have to deal with pc froends going "hop on" "lets play" over n over when its just not fun. Customs are great but it couldve been left at that
bruh just be glad that they're allowing friends to play together who gives a flying fuh whether it has some minuscule effect on how matches are made. As you said the games in its 10th year I think its about damn time they let people play together on pc and console. The only reason that hasn't been done is because everyone who plays siege is wayyyy over competitive and cares wayyyyy too much about EXACTLY how the matchmaking is gonna work and whether it'll be absolutely perfectly fair in every aspect. Like just loosen up and enjoy the game and I promise you'll barely notice a difference.

Bruh, this is a massive L. Cross-play should be everywhere. However Cross-input should not.
As a PC player I enjoy R6 more on a controller since I find it more fun tbh. I still can't believe people think PC players can only play on mouse and key. Now Ubisoft is telling me to bring my console friend into a mouse and keyboard lobby only to get absolutely slammed.
The one and only thing Call of Duty did right is Cross play and Cross input. I am mind blown this isn't adopted into every single game especially when we are seeing cross-play being adopted by almost every game nowadays.
