This video teaches students how to construct a perpendicular bisector. In particular, this video highlights how students can use a compass and straightedge to construct the perpendicular bisector of a given line segment.
This video is appropriate for a student taking a course in Geometry. Students preparing for the NY Geometry Regents or some other Common Core Geometry test should find this video helpful.

Where did u find the online compass from this video
Hey thanks for the big wide arc in the video, I just figured something else out. I was wondering how to find the center point of a piece of rectangular steel plate of its length side whose width is shorter than half of its length. I was like there is no way I can scratch a line outside of the steel, but now that there are two intersections on the AB I can just perform this procedure again until I can finally scratch the steel plate, however this is only half of the job done, since only one side of the length have metal to scratch onto I have to do this whole procedure on the other length of the rectangle to create another intersection on the steel plate.
If this were a real world scenario where using a compass does not work, I would probably wind up using a ruler. Hope it all worked out!

The point of math is to not have to rely on our visual intuition and use formulas, but a basis in that visual intuition is always where that should start if it can! I wish you would have covered the calculation.
