I think Jessie Eisenberg explained it the best. They don't like watching themselves because they are all highly critical of themselves and conscious about watching themselves in a movie. They're probably very self conscious and any little thing they see in the movie that they don't like, can hurt their ego. Jessie is the only honest one here. Everyone else just gives nonsensical explanations. Well, to her credit, Nicole Kidman is the only other that admitted, watching herself is cringy.
I don't believe there's one actor who can truly say they haven't watched their own movie, especially if it's like an oscar winning movie. It's the same to say Usain bolt have never watched his 100m winning race or Drake have never listen to his own songs ect..

That is actually ridiculous that those actors do that if your stuck in a t.v. shows thats a tv series and your there for years I get that but these actors need to remember your an actor duh people come to watch you its why your being paid I'm not saying go look at all your movies but what if your at the academy awards and your nominated or u win that Oscar obviously they're going to show some scene you did and u will have to sit there and watch it that tells me those actors are paranoid and afraid someone is going to say man you suck in that movie they shouldn't let that get them.to behave that way you are a professional actor try to take things in stride and not be so paranoid & afraid of ur own work mistake are made actors make bombed movies it happens no.ones perfect it is what it is that's the reality of it your not doing this for free your being paid grow up be professional your already where u are because of acting skills whether people like it or not u will still be working still getting paid for ur work I'm actually shocked that the well.known established actors actually act that way unbelievable
