Yeah Foster was really busy in the 80’s. He not only worked with Kenny but also produced & wrote hit songs for Chicago, Peter Cetera, The Tubes, John Parr, St. Elmo’s Fire soundtrack, etc.

I rediscovered Kenny in my early 30s and realized how many songs he did When I was a kid in the car listening to my parents car radio sitting in the backseat sweating from no air conditioning.
That album still is amazing after all these years and when I bought it, I never thought it would become one of my favorites of all-time. Very exciting to have learned of their collaboration upon buying it. A great duo performance on this track executed by two amazing vocalists and made it fire, but I always hoped they'd done more together. What a time to be young in an era when music was so amazing. Points off for not mentioning the gutsy and groovy guitar work of Neil Giraldo on “Don’t Fight It.” It’s the music that elevates this particular song and makes it a cut above the rest. Additionally, I’m a big fan of “Welcome To Heartlight.” That track is a magnificent, majestic, melodic, mini-masterpiece in my opinion.
