Owning the TR 25 and TR 24 just curious as to why the fiber optic wheel change I feel the 24 gathers in more light overall, the 25 takes in just enough in the daytime, also it would be lighter weight.

Love trijicon ever since being issued one in 2003. I carried the ACOG in Iraq and have a reflex on my personal rifle. Now looking at the accupoint for hunting .

Will there be an updated version of the TR24? 1-4 accupoint? I really like how simple, rugged, and light it is. However, It was released almost 10 years ago I believe was curious if there was a 2.0 on the horizon?

I agree with you regarding a 2.0 version. I would like to see T-con continue the chevron reticle, but thin out the fenceposts.

Is it first plane or second plane?
I have looked for a video review on the 3-18x 50 on all the TH-cam hunting video reviews are on every scope and red dot you make to its accuracy its use and its durability but none on the 3 - 18 x 50. I was so wanting to get one but had to pass it up due to this research to see it in action as a vet I'm retired now and cannot afford it I'm 64 as of yesterday the 29th of sept. I only have a few more hunts left in me due to copd. Don't expect to win one but I had to let you know why I didn't purchase one when I could and was in great health. Trijicon would have made a great scope for my 6.5 Creedmoor..
What accupoint is recommended for 400+ yards?
On a ar10. Which is a better choice for recreational shooting the acog or the accupoint?
I have an acog on my ar and tr23 on scar 17. Depends how far you're trying to shoot. Inside 400 yards the acog is awesome. Beyond you might want more magnification

With the two new model lines, a choice between Accupoint, Accupower, and VCOG was already difficult; now, more-so.
Is there a reason the 1-4x has a light slider while the units with more 3-9x has a daisy wheel adjuster?
I think it is considerably older then the other styles, just a design change. That being said everything i've read on the 1-4 makes it sound very robust so I am not sure one is "better"
How long does the tritium last within the accupoint riflescope?
It has a half-life of about 12 years. So after 12 years it will glow about half the brightness, but you can send it to trijicon and have them replace it.

I am not 100% sure- so please don't get mad at me for this- but I believe that since Trijicon uses Tritium for illumination, which is radioactive, they have to be adherent to some sort of Nuclear Regulatory Commission rules or something like that, and therefore their products can't be sold outside the USA, or at least not to anyone but allied governments or anything like that.
