Good show dude, lotsa bang bang! Once you switched to 1st person control of your ship, you were a lot more effective. 3rd person control for CVs is Dooky, in 3rd person, You aren't aligned with your weapons and so cannot control them as effectively, nor can you control or gauge your own ships alignment to the enemy ship as effectively, which makes defensive positioning harder as well. I think most people who fly in 3rd person do it defensively, so they can see if something starts firing on their tail, but a simple ping and look at the map before you engage something completely removes this risk. 1st person view aligns you with your weapons, and gives you a CLOSER, clearer view of what youre shooting at. Because you are aligned with your guns in 1st person, aim adjustments can be made simultaneously with either keyboard, OR mouse. Keep using that 1st person cockpit and you will be blowing them apart w/ ease in no time, its just a matter of you becoming more familiar with the enemy ships and how to disable them quickly. Nice wins today. Also, using 2 different types of manual weapons is triggering me bro :) Try all plasma. ( or all railgun, or cannon )
5:40 - Your back is full of stuff. Unload and sort it into you ship. You're realy need only ammo(only that is used by weapon you use), night vision googles, 5 Ration Packs, 5 oxygen bottles, 5 water, 5 antibiotic oitments, milk shakes and some money. All other stuff can be accessed through logistics from a ship directly. 12:50 - You can see solar output and charge through P menu in statistics tab. Just scroll down in Power/Fuel column. 31:00 - hacking software will help to hack satelites that can be found in sun orbits. 31:30 - why didn't you unload stones into a base and started carbon production there? 1:31:00 - by hitting B key XCaliber can see your current location, LOL.
When you destroy a core it makes a big red EMP like explosion with a Ploink sound its easy to tell when u destroy one, first time kill is to identify where cores are, then 2nd onwards is alot easier since you know where the cores are, therefore no need to destroy everything. You can also go third person and zoom in for a better view, rockets will create big flume of smoke making it obscure any view so use at own risk.
u never had to go to legacy space for legacy ships just find exotic systems like L, T, N1-5, bh1-5 and prob a few more. to take on legacy u want as many plasma cannons on ur ship as u can
I was late to the stream so I get to see the beginning from your perspective!

If you have the fuel cells in your inventory you can shift-click them to fill the auto-miner. Saves having to add each one individually.

main panel on base shows Batterys on the bottom of page % you had 100 % charge on your solar

Scroll down when your in statistics, look at battery. It shows how full it is
shooting straight thru the entire ship is not how u get the core^^
and ur 2 lasers are so pointless when u have plasma
