Mimi's response to Rodolfo's impassioned plea to tell him about herself. Personally I'm not such a fan of Cristina Gallardo-Domâs' Mimi here, but I didn't want to leave it out.

How wonderful to see this clip of this amazing soprano, I remember seeing her many years ago as Cio Cio San in Madama Butterfly in Covent Garden and she had me in floods of tears a performance I will never forget 😢
Cristina is, in my opinion, a is more of a technical genius rather than a naturally talented diva, and that IS why i like her! yes, thank you to the odd reviewer that points out her "mouth", but come on, she manipulates her facial expressions & posture to to produce those amazing notes that perhaps a few (at best!) can get to. sorry, in my book, Cristina is one of the best opera singers who ever played Mimi.
Really?? I LOVE Cristina and I think her performance is outstanding here!! This is my favorite production of La Boheme too. She is the best Mimi IMO too. :))
I don't have to be watching the video, or be making a fair comparison with Maria Callas' interpretations, or those of other versatile sopranos, but what I hear from Cristina Gallardo in this video is incredibly dramatic. In my opinion, a delivery of high technical qualities, in her voice as well as in personal touches in her acting the role of Mimi, as required by the scene. Visibly in the close quarters of this video recording her acting the role may look a bit exaggerated, but her acting for a live audience in a theater environment, is just right and necessary, especially when her physicality must visually reach the most upper balconies of the venue.
Que extraordinaria ,es la mejor interpretre de OPERA DEL MOMENTO,sobre todo de.Puccini,Verdi.Es tecnicamente perfecta y de su vos maravillosa salen esas arias que mi padre me las enseño,y creo que estara muy contento de saber de que la soprano que tanto extrañaba la tenemos y es chilena.

Her voice is lovely!!! I think some of her acting is annoying, but her expression during the climax just about made me cry. Wow.

Hace unos días descubrí a Cristina Gallardo. Sin duda su voz una de las más hermosas que haya escuchado interpretando a “Mimi”. Estremece y emociona.
Espectacular y sobre todo ver el acomodo y los gestos que hace para llevar acabo y sacar la nota wooow!!!! me ha encantado.
