- Hey! I'm Aja Dang and we've entered the fun part of wedding planning... SHOPPING (for yourself). I'm gearing up for our engagement photos and needed to find some lewks and I found wedding dresses for under $100 via Lulus. I already bought my wedding dress last year but these are some great options for photos, engagement/bach parties, dress rehearsal, etc. It's impossible to stay under a wedding budget (more on this in the next vlog...) so if this can find affordable dresses while still looking cute, I say HELL YA. #ad #lovelulus @lulus

I looked far and wide for my December wedding, and in the end - in a moment of despair - bought a Lulus dress online and it was the most beautiful wedding dress. No one believes that it was $190. I didn’t look like it and the quality was amazing. I’m SO happy with it! It fit like a glove too.
the stretch fabric Lulus uses really helps the dresses look great on anyone!
You know I think if you can find a gorgeous dress for under $500 that works for a wedding most people aren't even going to be able to tell besides it's weird spending money on a dress you'll probably wear once.

@@jasminewashington9279 yes! My mom is a seamstress and removed just the length. It was super easy as the fabric is easy to care for. That’s all the tailoring that was done but I’m sure you could do as much as you need to with yours!

Paperless post is great for virtual save the dates! You can link your wedding website and it creates a calendar invite so people can just add it to their calendars immediately! We did paper ones for the older generation and they appreciated it!

Those dresses… oh my gaaaah! I love that they’re extremely budget friendly - wedding bills run up so high, it’s comforting to see that there are options that don’t break the bank AND have that wow factor. 😍

I’m actually surprised how well they fit me! When I was looking for my own dress I saw prices for under $1000 but never found any under $100!!! So these were awesome finds
I had a smaller backyard wedding in Jan 2021. I had already bought a dress that I wanted to save for our bigger church ceremony we had this past January, but got another dress from Lulus essentially for free with CC points (hehe in late 2020, there weren't any travel plans on the horizon so, why not!?). I loved it! Wishing you all the good vibes during wedding planning! I know...it's A LOT, but it'll end up great!

My friends wedding dress was $15k!!! I WAS LIKE HOLY SHOOT!! it was super pretty but I definitely do not have the budget for that
I’d definitely love to do this video with gowns over $10,000 bc I’d be interested in comparing the differences. My dress was $4000 (which my mom paid for) and it’s being custom fitted to me + the fabric is higher quality and delicate details but the $100 dresses fit well, the designs were lovely and the fabric was comfortable. I just hope she’s able to re-wear her dress again for something fun so it doesn’t sit in her closet!
I bought my bridesmaids dresses and my bridal shower dress from Lulu. They were so reasonably priced and I loved them!!

I bought my wedding dress from lulu's for $80. So glad I went that route as I did not give a fugg about buying an expensive dress 🙌

I love lulus! I have a lulus outlet store where I live and my bridemaids and I have been going on the weekends to try on new styles. So far i have found my wedding dress plus almost all of the bridesmaids dresses as well!
Lulus is a great option for bridesmaids. No one wants to spend a ton of money on those dresses

Gorgeous. They all look amazing on you, but that second dress is so perfect.
I got my wedding dress second hand on a site called Still White, idk how I measured so perfectly or maybe I got very lucky but my tailor told me it fits me perfectly and she only had to take up the straps which cost me $75 (dress was $500). I highly recommend buying from Still White!!
Also since most of the dresses are designer on Still White you can track down your dress in person at a boutique if you are unsure if it will look good on you, which I totally did lol

Thank you SO much for this video. Long story short I spent a pretty penny on a dress for our May 2020 destination wedding... that clearly by the date you can tell was cancelled last minute 😂😩😭 Then I got pregnant and now I’m a solid 30lbs heavier than when I bought the dress. I want to lose it but between PPD and the stress of WFH with a baby (now 1 year old) it’s so hard and I just want to reschedule the wedding finally! Now I can buy a $100 or cheaper dress (these all look great honestly) and eventually donate my first dress when I find the right organization, and not feel too bad about the “waste” of money. Thanks again ❤️

The 109 dollars one was my fav for sure, nr 2 then nr 1, i just feel like the 109 dollar one felt them most wedding look on you, the other felt more reception dress.
The earrings would be cool for reception, i think some simple big pearl earrings would look amazing on you.

I just got engaged, and I have no idea what I’m doing 😅. I do not look forward to plan a wedding. It just seems like a lot. Right now, my focus is us getting a house. Our plan right now is something small by the beach, or a destination wedding. But it’s gotta be close to water.

It’s definitely a lot! If it’s any consolation, while my bigger destination wedding was cancelled due to Covid (it was supposed to happen May 2020..), our legal ceremony at city hall remains one of our favorite memories of all time. And it only cost like $75 or something altogether for license and ceremony! Just saying😉 Or try one of those all inclusive resorts that will plan the wedding for you! haha

Hey girl, getting married on Saturday...4 days! As far as budget, I was trying to stay under $15k but that had to go out the window pretty quick and I was the only one putting that on myself about it. Also, I heard you say "we have to..." A lot. Consider if you feel pressure to do things cause "everyone else" does them or you actually want to do them. For example, we're not doing a formal rehearsal dinner, it's just gonna be a casual dinner at one of our fave restaurants in town and everyone will pay their own way. That's a huge expense were saving. We didn't do an engagement shoot cause we hate photos and wouldn't do anything with the photos. We also skipped on a videographer cause we don't know what we'd do with a wedding video but neither of us are on social media LoL. Those are big savings. We're not having a wedding party, only people walking down the aisle with us are immidiate fam and we told them to wear whatever they want, just gave them guidelines like color range. They are paying for their own outfits. That's another big savings.

My fiancé and I were thinking of asking his sister to officiate our wedding but have no idea how much work we'd actually be asking her to do. Are you giving your friend any guidance on writing the ceremony or are you giving him free reign? I'd love to hear how you're approaching it!
I'm giving him free reign. Alan is very thoughtful and he's getting married in July so I have full confidence in him. The only thing I told him is I want a very short wedding so cut all the bullshit.

I honestly annoyed about finding a weeding dress. The main reason is that I never really like dresses. Finding a weeding dress is so much out of my comfort zone. Can’t imagine wearing a dress for a special day of my life. However my fiancé really is looking for this so I have to do this for him. If it was for me I’ll just put jeans 👖 and my boots 👢 and I’ll be happy. I’m going to wear a white dress, but I’m totally will wear boots for my wedding. Al final del día Soy de Rancho 🤠

For saving money on wedding dresses, I also recommend sample sales! I got my $1k+ Jenny Yoo dress for $100 at their sample sale, I think my dress might’ve been a floor sample so I have to bring it in to get cleaned and altered. Also alterations were estimated to be $600+ for me, I’m only 5’1” and my dress is long, so its important to account alteration prices on the wedding budget.

You don’t need to get your voters cover you had photos taken when you were engaged therefore those are your photos. That’s what we did we had photos taken during her engagement because my fiancé was super intelligent and had already on standby and we sent those out those were literally engagement photos therefore he didn’t have to go and take any more will see the Photographer come our wedding day wedding day
If you can afford to, go ahead and treat yourself to a bridal bathing suit and take some engagement photos. This is a once in a lifetime event, enjoy it!
