Hi, would really appreciate a reply, just wondering what the parking situation is like at Exeter uni (Streatham campus), is there like a parking permit for the year you can buy, if so how much? Do people usually park in the uni car parks or are there better cheaper places? Is it worth bringing my car at all to Exeter uni or leaving it at home/ selling it(in your opinion) thanks very much :)
Hello! Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately parking in Exeter is a real faff and nearly nobody owns a car. I used to date a guy who had one but only because he lived at home and he did have "tricks" to park on campus but it was a lot of stress and he got a few tickets. I think that if you live in halls you really dont need one. Most people walk and if you live off campus you can always walk with a group or just take the bus. I have never taken the bus or a car and I was more than fine. However that's because I always looked for accommodation that was in a good location. The most far I ever lived was in Birks which was 20min walk to the city and 20 min walk to my lectures and it was more than ok! What I would do if I was you: I would leave it at home for the first month and see how you get on. Then you can decide if you leave it home, sell it or bring it! Hope this helps!! xxx
