It's so good to see this song '' For Your Love'' posted on u- tube because when i was a young man and just out of the army i hooked up with Sam Gary and i took Bill Johnson's place after they broke up and we song this song all over the USA on a lots of big shows. As you all know i went my way and thanks to sam who though me a lots I'm still on top in show biz today ,Gene Anderson aka Poo Poo Man of the P-Funk All Stars.RIP SAM!!

I used to have this 45... played it nonstop, til I got complaints from the neighbors!!! "Oh, PLEASE change the music!!!" They'd wail plaintively.... Good times.
I typed 'fly me to the moon' into this search engine and trawled through all the versions, and there were 100s. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero. I even typed soul duo after the title. Nothing. I used to own this record and it was a B side here in blokeland and a version is playing on an ad here, and I was minded to look it up, so I was surprised it didn't come up in the search engine. I then remembered 'Sam & Bill' and it came up immediately.
Wow...I just went and did a google search and there was a Sam & Bill...interesting because I definitely remember this being the side B to a Sam & Dave song. Whatever....I'm still very, very glad that you posted this song.
they toured the UK in the sixties . I got back stage and asked them who the ethereal voice on the record Alas they didn't know . Brilliant record Don't remember a version by Sam and Dave and i saw them twice in the sixties
