Cortana isn't dead. Just another switch and bait, which they've already done 3x now. They won't write her out because people like Cortana too much. Noble team is one-dimensional, canned characters. Johnson is a one-dimensionl, canned character who had 0 development despite the fact he was in multiple games. These are not well written characters nor are they "good" characters. Don't confuse your childhood attachment to these personalities which are nothing more than 1 dimensional cliches and terrible writing as "good" characters. FYI I actually like Johnson, it just cracks me up that people think Halo has "good" characters when all of them are basically the equivilant of eating chicken out of a can.
