In this video I bought a 3rd party power Mop, Sweeper and Buffer from an advert I saw on Instagram adverts. they appear all the time on social media, so I thought lets see how bad this thing is lol. Enjoy.

Very interesting mop. Looks like it's best used the way you would wax with the old Hoover by having a bottle to spray the wax on the floor then buff it.
Yeah definitely, a light wax as there’s not much weight to it for proper buffing.
I agree with what you said about this item. I’d rather use the SpinWave.

I have been really interested in these as well. I haven’t pulled the trigger on one though because it looked way to easy to suck up moisture into the vac. Thanks to your fantastic in depth review I know that I can pass on it. Also I’ve been meaning to email you. I’ll send you one today as I’ve got a little present for you and seeing you use your V10 reminded me about it. I’ll give you a hint, laser haha.
Hi Nick, I definitely wouldn’t recommend these to Joe public because you can be guaranteed it won’t be used properly and people will end up destroying their machines even quicker than they do now! I’ve not got your email yet buddy, but I will look out for it mate. Thanks 🤗
Same. I was looking at either getting a used Dyson V8 and this mop attachment or a roborock h7 which is of similar quality and now I know that I may as well go for the roborock of I want both

Think it would just scratch the floor with any grit that may be left behind. With the machine unable to work while plugged into a power source you need 2 vacuums. 1 for vacuuming first then second one for scratching the floor lol.

No, there’s not enough weight on the device to Polish it effectively, maye a brick on top would help, but that’s being silly.

Good review - I'm guessing Dyson would have invented their own one if it was ever going to work.
I guess Dyson don’t trust their machines with end users and water 🤣, hence no more vacuums to recommend their Zorb with. I’ve seen and had a few machines destroyed by Zorb, nothing to do with Dyson but end user misuse and stupidity. 🤣

It did seem to work for the intended purpose of mopping non-drenched floors and potentially waxing - for $70 USD on Amazon, it's worth a try
No Dyson wouldn’t have invented an attachment! They would come out with a WHOLE COMPLETE machine! Their Dyson Hard floor mop was a failure.

Thanks for the demo. I am confused as to what to buy to clean for my SLATE tiled floor. No waxing or picking up spills needed. I would be most grateful if you could recommend a cordless machine for my slate floor.
Hi Lori, this product would definitely not be suitable. To be honest for slate I would try a steam mop. These kinds of machines like Crosswave or Tineco are really not happy on uneven surfaces.

They don’t unfortunately, but I always try to. Now when it comes to steam mops I don’t have much experience. It al depends which country you live in, all I can say is don’t get the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive, one with plenty of Microfibre mop heads as you’ll need to change them after every few square meters to maintain the floor and not spread around the dirt from one area to the next, a quite powerful one to really get the slate clean. I’m sorry I couldn’t be brand specific 😭

I have thought about that, but it could cause wind noise, whistling, it’s really not worth it to be honest.

If you put down too much water yes. That’s why you should avoid it.

Omg I purchased one of these for my Dyson and I really wanted to love it so badly!!!!! It was garbage 😢. It literally does nothing!!! I was so upset so I just ended up returning it on Amazon!

Maybe you can fill the reservoir with little steel or lead balls, give it some extra weight. Or just put something heavy on it?
Its absolutely not worth doing anything on it and not buying one. I do have one more demonstration to go on it.

I’m not recommending it, it’s rubbish, but I got it from eBay.
This is totally away Frome the video but when you have paint markes on you vacuum you use rubbing alcohol and a clean rag

When I saw something similar to this advertised I was intrigued because I thought, "Ooh, a spinning mop head without having to buy another machine." I hadn't realised it still sucked up muck from the floor. It seems to me that when you're mopping whatever bits happen to be on the floor will end up damp and then sucked into your vacuum cleaner. It strikes me it would have been better without the suction "function" and just as a microfibre pad spinny mop. As for £100 and it doesn't even come in one piece - that would be a deal breaker for me. I can break stuff myself, I don't need it pre-broken.
I wish it had a diverter valve on it to move from floor to the top, I’m going to try it next to apply flow wax.

It is good innovation but it is not made by Dyson. I am worry this moisture will damage the vacuum. I am sure, it is okay for dry mop

🤦🏻♂️ if steel or iron can be bent, you better believe this dingy little vacuum will vent with minimal force
I don't think this has any application for polyurethane sealed hardwood. Will stick to steam mop with metho or a drop of vinegar.. I could see the value with floors needing waxing etc. The mopping functionality is not heavy duty enough for most areas like a kitchen. Great review though.

Do you want to know why you ruin it with him? To me it looks like this thing would ruin your Dyson sucking up water in to the Dyson
Definitely, small area light mopping would be fine, but people don’t care and would suck up everything and then buggar it up. But to be honest who is actually going to pay 100 quid for this ?
Old Dyson (dc29) were able to eat a bit of water, not sure if they are still able now

Total scam company! Piece of 💩 and to return they make it as expensive as the unit itself. Terrible company terrible product. Their “knockoff” Dyson is a cheap version and I wouldn’t use it in my machine.
