- Two fashion watches from Rolex: the Oyster Perpetual 36 in its Turquoise and Candy Pink dial variation. Lex is asking, which one would you pick? 💙💗
Before digging into this "fashion dilemma", let’s discover together what “Oyster Perpetual” indicates. And don't leave us before telling us what's your pick between the two!

My favorite watch in my collection is my OP36 green dial. I waited 15 months before my AD could get it for me. Well worth the wait as it is stunning. Now she is trying to get me a turquoise. I'd love to collect one of each color, too bad the yellow and red were discontinued.
36 Candy Pink is fireeeee
I am glad my local dealer got me a pink 36 OP. Very nice watch! Knowing the history of this watch after watching your educated video 😊
Of course both colors are beautiful, but my choice would be yellow. Yellow stella dial always been a rarest in Rolex collection. When it comes to the size I would go with 36mm
More like “Baby Blue” than “Tiffany”.
I feel people slap these hype names to find an opportunity to add that “premium” markup.
I would go for the olive green 34 from a few years earlier
Yellow and Coral Red are the best ones. After all the Turquoise and Pink are still in production. 😜
I bought one from the gray market and then sent it back, blue turquoise was more pale in person and not as vibrant, also harder for me to read in 36mm, still on the waitlist for one, but at the gray market price could not justify keeping it for an OP, hoping it does not get discontinued this year, 39mm would have been perfect!
I think the 41 op is actually 39.5mm, so you should get that
I got the candy pink when the original customer turned it down. So it was a surprise, now its my most worn watch, it works well with work and casual.
i put down an order at my local AD 3 Months ago. Also for the pink one 36mm. I think It will be my go to watch for recreational activities + for vacations :D How is the bezel holding up? does it get scratched easily? i only have a fluted + ceramic watch from rolex. Thanks.
@@Qadi90 yeah its graet, i play tennis with it, i swim, and everyday activities. if you wear a lot of blue its awsome. the subtleness of the pink has made it versatile. i get quite a few compliments and stares.
My partner adores the candy pink - I think colours will do Rolex good. Softens the austereness.
Absolutely, we love it too! It's great to see both variations breaking the mold :)
I have a 6.5" wrist, I want the 36 mm in bright blue, but my wife says that 36 mm looks like a woman's watch on my wrist. The 41 mm looks a bit big, like you said, 39 mm would be perfect.
36mm doesn’t look small on my 7.5 inch wrist
41 OP it’s in fact a 39.5 mm.
@@Luxdg even 39mm is too big for those color dials
@@cookingwithwatches so buy the 36mm version with no regrets at all.
I'm waiting on the same watch...36mm bright blue. Best colour for me. It changes in different light, it is my favourite colour and it's subtle. Love it
Pink is for winners = Word
Both great colors. I’ll take either.
Pink is so beautiful 🔥🔥🔥
was on the list for the 36 coral red. Discontinued and was allocated the turquoise. Frankly I still prefer the coral red. That’s not saying the turquoise is very nice and subtle in the metal. Doesn’t stick out as it actually is a bit paler in real life. And I have the “white grape” as well. Which is in fact even more attractive than the other new colors 😂
The white grape is such a sleeper. Also the chunky lugs on the white grape were nice. The discontinued “steel” dial is a good one too. Grey on grey looks sharp.
Have been trying to put my hand on a blue 36 mm on the second market.. It s quiet hard ..
Very much so. Also extremely expensive.
The 36,41 and 124060 all use the 3230 movement. Not 3022
Correct me if I'm wrong, but before 1910s or 1920s, the pink was rather men's color (not these pastel and fluorescent ones) and blue was women's color. Okay, that was a 100 years ago, but...
Nice video. I liked the 39mm “red grape” as well. Really cool. Also, it is tiring to hear everything light blue referred to as Tiffany Blue. That particular color is protected as trade dress and cannot be used without permission. Finally, I like your association of colors with cycling jerseys. I want to see a red polka dot watch for the hill climbers. Maybe that’s a Kusama design for Louis Vuitton? BTW, respect for coverage of the Bravur Grand Tour series…
The blue Tiffany Rolex is around $ 5,500 to 12k usa dollars
I’ve registered for silver & turquoise because I’m conflicted because the silver is "safe". I have to choose one! Help!
IMHO, Rolex should leave designing attractive dials to other brands. Look up the Muhle Glashutte Panova Red & Teal if you're looking for colour.
When I buy a watch, it has to appeal to my eye, regardless of mob hype. My choice would be 41mm blue (whatever name they're calling it). I select the larger size for easy readability. If a OP day/date model is available in the future, then that would be what I'd like. Getting it would be a whole 'nother matter.
The bigger size looks and feels like shit. Too big for that style of watch.
The OP41 is 39mm. You need to get past on-paper stats.
I'm a Rolex fan boy and I'm delighted that you guys aren't.
Yes fashion watches seem to be the big new thing at Rolex. The tool watch days are long gone with a just a few residual models that are impossible to get at the AD representing the old days. Time for Rolex to go full gangsta with busted out gold watches, and pastel colored fashion watches.
Very nice video. New subscriber
What are you talking about no one really cared about those two? Those were the most sought after color when they came out.
And stop telling people you can’t get it at your local dealer. Build a decent relationship and you can. Stop trying to get people to support the grey. I got the blue in 31mm last year for my wife and myself a 36mm at MSRP,
Build relation to spend good amount of money to lose money???? In the end you’ll spend way more money than what you’ll spend at the grey market & you’ll not able to sell it or you’ll get blacklist by the AD if you did LOL
They are €6400.
Pink
Terrible dial colours, dial too crowded with double indices at 3 & 9, but great case size.
Ideal watch for those who don't feel the need to overcompensate.
Would be even better if they still offered the 3,6,9 dial.
Then you got it for all the wrong reasons. To make a few pennies
Hoping my 126000 in green is discontinued one day so I can sell for some profit.
You bought it for all the wrong reasons. To make pennies?
I think historically, pink was a "man's colour" anyway.... I'm waiting for the bright blue
So boring!
