@@bbbjim1fixedit i just finished doing it on sentra 2005 . what a nightmare.couldn't budge the filter tried three different oil wrenches . took me two hours to complete the damn job that takes me 10 minutes on camry 98. it's almost impossible to get to this oild filter. just ordered a set of 15 cap wrenches for next time. it's a must with this car.

what size filter do i need?
I used an equivalent to a FRAM PH7317, yet you should check with the store you purchase the filter from to ensure you get the correct one
SMH tried to do my girlfriends car and the 14 mm drain plug just didn’t want to come in done
some places over tighten everything
Which oil grade is recommended for this engine??
typically the oil grade is listed on the oil cap. Also it may differ depending on the year. it would be best to consult the owners manual

too bad it can't be reached from the top like toyota camry. this is one of the hardest cars to change oil filter.
Indeed it could be easier. The easiest oil change I ever did was a mid 1980's Dodge 4 cylinder. The filter was on the front side of the engine
