      Yes they are soooo hard to find for sure! I found a beautiful Twisted oak a few weeks ago. That's staying with me 🤣🤣. Thank you so much for watching! Getting geared for the new year.

    Thanks for the video. I'd appreciate it if you could show us how you identify the species of the saplings you take. I'm always curious about what type of trees Im seeing on my hikes.

      You’re close, I live in Lexington SC, near Columbia.
      I also make walking sticks but not as far along as you are. I enjoy your videos.
      I know we have a ton of sweet gum, oak and maple but as I’m hiking in the winter I can’t identify different species and would enjoy seeing your take on them. Take care buddy 👍🏼
