Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water follows the journey of Jake Sully and Neytiri's newfound family. Despite their best efforts to keep their family together, a familiar threat resurfaces and forces Jake, Neytiri, and their four children to flee to the land of the Metkayina clan.
Avatar: The Way of Water's plot will be a fully-encapsulated, standalone narrative, as will the other sequels, but will also be part of a meta-narrative that extends across Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar 3, 4 and 5.

I've been to James Cameron Avatar fans since I was a kid when it first came out and the avatar game and the DLC bonus the Great leonopteryx 😮😮😮😮😮🤔🤔🤔😧😧😦
I had a crazy theory about the DLCs I can imagine that you get the I can imagine that you get the greatest leonopteryx or last Shadows I will be expecting did the players as you're playing as a navi child can you go back to your Navi routes half RDA and half Navi Novi gear become a navi Warrior the Sky Warrior the secret of the spires this request my own banshee battle attacks I'm up for the challenge my banshees up for it bring it on Sky people and let me tell you something bro when I do play this game I'm going to be having fun and become a navi Warrior that is my promise to Ubisoft if you see me telling there's a big fan from Jesup Georgia there is a James Cameron fan of Avatar and I am a big fan of Avatar the frontiers of Pandora

The game is supposed to happen between The High Ground and the 2nd movie, right? So I don't think the DLC will be connected to that. Depending on how much later the DLC is set, there might be a connection to A3.
No it happens during the second movie time skip.
Yes, in the one year between the RDA arriving and the actual start of the movie (the train raid, Quaritch waking up etc.) The High Ground happens between the new star in the sky and the RDA scorching the ground. So the game is set after The High Ground.@@Noob-yx1cu

Interesting point; they could go for a time jump (forward or backward) in the DLC as well so we’d need to see an actual trailer I guess?
If they have a timejump backward, we would have to play with a different character though, as the Sarentu only wakes up after the RDA returns. Unless it is a prequel of the Ambassador Program during A1 - that might be interesting to explore. @@AvatarTheory

I've been playing far cry primal and the 2009 game to I can feel as close to avatar as possible

I think this game and the dlcs takes place during avatar 2 or just after, after the humans have returned to pandora. Your character gets put in hypersleep and wakes up 15 years later.. I'd assume that you were put in hypersleep, humans got kicked of pandora and you were left there for 15 years and you get awakened somehow. And now it's during avatar 2 when humans have come back but just on a different part of pandora away from Jake's story. I think jake was at the eastern sea while this game is in the west ?
And remember avatar 2 took place over a few months, you can tell because the pregnant water tribe lady was getting a bigger and bigger belly throught the movie so theres many months during the movie the game and dlc can take place.
Just to be clear, if I buy the ultimate edition, i will be granted access to the dlc once they release in 2024?

Ps5 would be the best, I think xbox has better specs but ps5 has a lot more games than xbox, you get more for your money
I would say PS5 because not only do you get a free skin but also the haptic feedback controls seems to be implemented when it comes to harvesting in the game
@@AvatarTheory yea this as well, the haptic feedback with things like the bows and guns will make it more immersive
I would have figured the DLC would take us to the islands. Got the Steelbook Gold edition anyway

@@AvatarTheory Actually I cancelled the Steel book Gold preorder and got the collector's edition because GameStop restocked them. I got it for PS5, pretty sure it was made for the PS5 anyway

Hope it will be good but im a bit disapointed that it wont be a 3rd person mode

@@charzidd770we don't know the extent, it's likely preset colors. But the resistance pack gives you the RDA style tactical ikran saddle

You customize your character, so yes
Although you can customise your character, I have yet to see official word of a male / female option :)

The blurriest foggiest horror show i ever played(yes i used the settings recomended to make fog less,even then its horrible)
So i dot know how this game looks 4 u all out there,But for me its just a foggy n blurry mess(tried al settings i have been recomended from y.tubers n others too)
Game started out looking great,a bit into gameplay this foggy n blurry mess started n never really left(worse in areas that are more fog in)
So i dont even play this game n less then 5h was ok n all hours after that(think it was even less amount of time before it started acting up 4 me)
Is the game a blurry n foggy mess for everybody out there or is it just people who have a rtx3060 12gb desktop???
Any fixes out there now? That work ofcourse,not intrested in try this n this n 4hours of trying out settings again w even worse visuals are not of intrest..
This was the 3rd ubisoft game in a row that have been a horrible experience n alot worse then all old games i tried since the 90s(the older atleast gameplay was fun n i saw infron otf me)
I have begun flying in AVATAR n that made the whole mess even worse(Try flying when u see 2meters infron of u!! I dare u to even try playing avatar this way..
Help w info about a working fix for this game....not fun paying full price n cant play it due to stuff out of my own hands
Has any of the recent updates helped you? I had some issues on PC and lowered the resolution; then it helped for me. So instead of playing at 4K, I am playing at 1080p
