This video is DIY to install the water tap to my Ikea Sunnersta Mini Kitchen. The stop valve, water tube and tap are bought in the local ABC shop. very cheap. the most difficult to do is the stop valve to connect to the copper water pipe that is on the wall. I am not a plumber so I just unscrew it and go hardware shop ask how to fix it and what to buy. first few attempt fail. got leakage. even how to wrap the white tape also must go google. I even screw till the nuts broken and need to saw the o ring to change a new ring. after installing the valve I let it sit there for a day. once confirm it will not leak than I install the tap. hope this help

Like your diy videos. It is very difficult to find local diy videos. Lots of overseas diy videos but sometimes the products or parts recommended are either not suitable or available locally. Please keep those videos coming.

Interestingly; i recognize the water trap / strainer in your video as the one from Ikea. Then i realized yr kitchenette is exactly the same one i am thinking of getting for my 2 room flexi also lol

Lol when it leak , I scare till my shit almost come out. And the o ring stuck. I more panic. Than Google for solutions. But many help from the hardware shop. 😁

The flexible hose both sides no need white tape because there is rubber washer inside. Without the rubber washer, even u put many many white tape also leak. When you put white tape, it is better not to cover hole. I see your tape cover part of the ball valve outlet.
Oh now I know, so the hose no need. Aiya waste my white tape. 😁

where do you buy the Faucet wrench pipe spanner? I need to change my basin tap already, old and water leaking.

@@TinyCreatureHub Thank you. So I bought the sink wrench and pipe spanner but the nut is very tight, unable to remove. HDB seems to paste some white cement and plaster to the tap and basin. Give up liao... Shag!

Can I know what diameter is the threaded single valve (the one with a short blue handle) ? Currently mine doesn't have a valve, considering installing one.
About 2cm. It better u take a photo of the pipe joint and let the hardware shop see and they will tell you what to use.
