That's the sort of customer that you don't need, and they need to be taken all the way for the hire and trailer damage costs. Glad you got it back (Eventually)
Looking at the creases in the front tyre, you'd think it had been parked flat for the 5 missing months Terrible situation to find yourself in, crazy they've allowed it to drag on for so long Thanks for the update Back UK Farmer's 🇬🇧 Geoff
Where was it parked?? Is it the hirers farm? Did you report it as stolen? All these questions 😊 You're a lot calmer than I'd be. Glad you have it back Michael 👍
Great video Michael, having watched your videos for some time I know that customers like that are thankfully not the norm. Excellent work though thanks to the power of social media and honest people that you actually found the trailer, my cynical side thinks that as the valve cores were missing and the tyres inflated without problem they were let down deliberately to make moving it more difficult ? It grinds my gears that someone would cause such hassle to a hard working company who took their business on trust and provided them with first class equipment. I sincerely hope you will claim the full recovery expenses on top of the hire costs from their insurance and black list that customer by putting the word out to other suppliers so they don't get caught out as you did. 🤔. As the old saying goes " Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me" 👍. Daniel is an absolute STAR.👌👌.
Strange situation, I guess we will find out more as time goes on. Didn’t look too bad but guess it must be twisted. It would be interesting to know how your insurance works with all the equipment especially tractors. As the customer will have to provide insurance but you must have it incase they don’t 🤷♂️
Apart from the silage sides it doesn’t actually look that bad, I’ve seen far far worse !. I will await your follow up video on how it tips as that’s the true test as it could be twisted !.
glad you managed to find the trailer and recover it eventually ,was the customer still paying the hire charges, or did they stop paying for hiring of the trailer?
Question. Do you black list naughty customers within the trade? As when I worked in the agricultural supply trade a bad payer would be blacklisted not just with us but within the trade also. Glad you got your trailer but to me something is very fishy about this whole scenario, if I trailer genuinely gets tipped over in the course of a day's work why hold off for so long and then hide the trailer ?
Is there more damage beyond the obvious in the video eg chassis, tipping gear etc? I ask because I'm quite surprised if it has been "written off" based on its appearance on the video. I can imagine there is a lot more "background" to this story which I somehow doubt we may well hear nothing further!
I bet hirers have claimed and pocketed the money the tractor was probably damaged in someways hoping that gcs didn't claim for same accident that's why it's been hidden
Another cracking video,it's amazing how people think it's acceptable to behave like this, Keep up the good work Michael and crew 👍

I would put trackers on all your equipment so you know where it all is
Great video again, Michael . It's a shame that some customers do things like that
Nothing gets away from you Micheal unfortunately there is always people like tat happy xmas to you and your staff

Hi Michael They made a good job of writing off that trailer then hiding it Thanks again
Looks like a few Mars bars for Daniel. Some people just don't deserve a second chance.....born takers.
A very sad video! It Takes all sorts to make the world go round! Ur a better man then me I would have named and shamed that hirer!
Great work Michael from Galway Ireland
Maybe you look at putting trackers on your machinery .never loose them then 😊 . You done well to find your trailer 👏 👍
Very lucky
I can't imagine why hiding it would make things better ,they have had a wrecked trailer on hire for months ,very strange !
Very much so.
That’s unbelievable Michael take care

Exactly all in hand. Yes tyres inflated no problem
Well done to you and Daniel
Sorry to see you had a very odd customer unfortunately there are them sort of people in this world.
It’s known as a Tracking Device and every piece of your Plant Equipment should have one hidden somewhere onboard.
You forgot to tell the reversing beeeper you were in stealth moad! 😂
You will make a great detective
Evening Michael and team
The valve cores removed and the Strimech fork set in front of it , someone did not want it moved.
Exactly
Strange it took the customer so long to pass on his insurance details. I bet he's on Santa's naughty list and not on your Christmas card list Michael
Grate videos just from Ireland just wondering what's the new hilux like looking at one for early next year
Glad you got it back Michael but can you not put trackers on them I know you have a lot but will it pay off ?
Yes we do have them in some

The customers insurance have only just learned the trailer was not their customers. I will let you make your own conclusion to that

I would say it's repairable
I’d say so trailer looks repairable just the silage sides that are scrap
I feel like these people should be blacklisted. So no of a higher company gets the same treatment as you.
Well done lads what a joke he should be called out a disgrace to leave a trailer like that
Michael how did you find it.
Have you thought about putting tracking devices on all your equipment you hire out. Thought Most.
Hire companies did this
Some do have
glad you managed to find the trailer and recover it eventually ,was the customer still paying the hire charges, or did they stop paying for hiring of the trailer?
Awaiting payment
No wonder the renter didn’t want you to find the trailer. Very embarrassing for him I guess.
Lot more to it than that sadly. Not from my side
@ So sad for you. Maybe trailers manufacturers should have a safety warning ⚠️ with speeding around corners.

I have a fair idea why but I can’t put that on TH-cam as it’s only my suspicion but you are correct
10% of your customers give you 90% of your problems
Yrs
Yes
Micheal what happened to the second trailer you never said as that customer hired 2 trailers mate😮
Yeah I wondered that as well
We got that back two weeks ago
Hiring to farmers is a mugs game. Been in the hire game for 20 years and farmers are the worst .
I have a customer base of some great farmers. Been in the hire game 39 years
Definitely the most dishonest people farmers are but some of them are spot on thankfully
Have you ever had a trailer stolen?
A few diggers and dumpers but we usually find them. We are lucky to know a lot of people

The insurance has written it off. The chassis has issues. Yes there is a bit more to this story. But I can’t really say at this point
@GCSMachinery will they sell it back?
I bet hirers have claimed and pocketed the money the tractor was probably damaged in someways hoping that gcs didn't claim for same accident that's why it's been hidden
😮😮😮😮😮😢😢😢😢😢😢❤❤
👍👍💪💪👏👏👌👌🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏
They were still paying the rental though ?
Me sending invoices and actually getting paid may be two different things. I’m owed a lot
@@GCSMachinery Oh I thought they were still paying the rent and trying to pretend it never happened
