You mean "Original Guitarist Kai Hansen". Kai was actually the original Lead Singer of Helloween. Then came Kiske (with Kai remaining on guitar) and later Deris after both Kai and Kiske left the band. Weikath (gtr) and Grosskopf (bass) are the only two members who have been with the band since the beginning.

as much as I like Helloween, only a couple of the musicians actually look comfortable playing on stage. Kiske and Deris's habit of miming the lyrics (pointing to their eyes when they sing the word "see", pointing up when they sing the word "sky", et cetera ad nauseum) looks a little ridiculous.. just sing the song.. leave the Bruce Dickinson-stuff to Bruce Dickinson (who actually does a good job of it).
Kiske isn't the original lead singer from Helloween. :)
If there was a dud singer before the band released an album it doesn't matter quite frankly. Kiske was the original lead singer when Helloween's 1st couple of albums were released and they gained popularity.
Kai Hansen is the original singer. He released Helloween EP and Walls of Jericho, with NOISE RECORDS, before Kiske joins.
It's a god damn sin, that a legendary band like Helloween is playing a little venue like this, and fucking shitty rap stars fill BIG venues. It's a travesty.
Helloween is not so popular in Usa like in Europe 🤷🏻♂️
