Very tempting for me for sure nice work..
Very cool! Tres chic! 🤯
Nice 👍
looks great!, needs soldering (like psio ) or cd-rom to boot?
no, it's plug and play !
Amazing work!! @@OrionSoft
This looks really interesting. I still own my Net Yaroze but I'm totally out of the loop on development. Is the transfer process similar to how it works over serial, and I recall there were different build executables for gcc and CodeWarrior, are they both supported? Thanks :)
the serial transfer for Net Yaroze was very slow, my USB cartridge is ten times faster. Net Yaroze executable are in COFF format if I remember correctly and needs an additional library, my cartridge only support standard PS-X Exe file generated by the official PSYQ sdk or all other homebrew sdk
@@OrionSoft Ah I see, something to keep in mind then. Actually speed wise the psx serial port supports higher speeds, I noticed this at the time and I came across a video by brill on it: th-cam.com/video/WigXvpaJmg4/w-d-xo.html. Regardless your device looks to be a lot more convenient. I'm very tempted to pre-order as it's not expensive and I have an old chipped psx with a worn cd drive I could use. Merci for the quick reply!
I'm very much interested in this. Do you have an ETA for when shipping would start?
the pre-order will stop at the end of the month, then I need to order the parts and assemble them, I guess shipping will be at the end of july, but I won't have any surplus than the pre-order number.
@@OrionSoft Thanks! lastly, does the ps1 need to be chipped?
@@bumpybumpybumpybumpy no it works on a stock ps1, you just need one with the back paralle port, model scph-100x to 700x (not 900x and not psone)
@@OrionSoft No problem there. Thanks!
